Digital Projection Alarm Clock with Dual Alarms, 5 Levels Dimmer

My brother is legally blind in one eye. His vision is also very poor on the only eye that works. When he wakes up, he immediately grabs his phone and puts the phone just inches from his face since he can't see the time well. I zoom in all the fonts and settings on his phone but they're still tricky to see. My wife also has poor vision, she's nearsighted (can't see far) with a -8 prescription. I saw an ad on social media for a necklace projection and the thought randomly popped up for a clock projection. I immediately came on Amazon and looked for a clock projection and clicked on this affordable one. Read all the reviews and was convinced to buy it. I was super excited and wanted to surprise my wife so I bought one to try it out with her first before my brother, and it was a success! I set it up the day it arrived. It looks nice and sleek and was easy to set. The cord is just long enough to reach the middle of our room where the dresser is. I had to play around the projection to find the perfect spot and perfect size without the digits being too blurry. Once I found the perfect spot, I went to my wife in the other room and took her glasses off and had her cover her eyes. Led her to our bedroom and told her to lay down on the bed (because it looks better from that position! Not any funny business ;)). I turned the lights off and told her to open her eyes. She immediately screamed because she could see the time clear as day. She was smiling from ear to ear. We had a mini celebration that night with pizza. I did pretty amazing in her books. The next day, I immediately bought another one for my brother. I set it up the following weekend. He was also very happy and could read the time whenever he wakes up and before he goes to bed. It's still a little blurry to him since his vision is very poor but it's better than the inches-away-phone from his face. The other feature like the alarm is also helpful, you can save 2 different alarms, but our circadian clock is in working order so we don't rely on it. But, my brother accidentally turned his alarm on one night and it was so loud the next morning at the default 6 am. Woke the entire house up. My mom was not happy when she called me the next day since my brother is a heavy sleeper so he didn't turn it off for almost 15 minutes. (Sorry mom!) Other things to note: - The projected LED light is bright and readable. It gets clearer the smaller it is but then not as effective for someone with nearsightedness. You twist the cap of the lens to change the size and blurriness. - There is a projection of light beam to the ceiling so if you're tall, the beam will hit your eyes. How we avoid that is to look away from the clock until we're laid in bed, it's a habit now so it doesn't bother us. - The square projector can only move up and down. But the entire clock can move left and right if you need to reposition it. - The light of the digits on the clock can be dimmed down, but the color is blue only and can't be changed. If you want a different light color, you'll have to buy a different clock with that predefined color. - It works plugged into the outlet, but takes in 2 AAA batteries so if the electricity goes out, it doesn't reset the clock. That feature has been extremely helpful numerous times during thunderstorms. We don't have to manually reset the clock every time. Overall, this is an AMAZING high-quality clock and it has helped my wife and my older brother out so much. It's been 1 and a half years and both clocks are still functioning like new. Just need a wipe and dust every so often. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a nearsighted partner or family member, it'll help them out and more.

I've had a projection type clock for years but both the projector and the clock had to have the time set separately and when the power would go out it made it a pain plus the buttons were tiny and hard to see. So, I decided to upgrade since a lot of them now just project the clock itself. I purchase another brand and it was way too bright even on the dimmest setting. (about the same glow as having a TV on) So I returned it. I ran across this one that said about the 5 levels dimmer for both clock and projector plus it has the ability to focus the display. I was a little skeptical after the previous one I had ordered but decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. It's a very nice looking clock, easy to set and the projection is very crisp on the ceiling so it's very easy to read. It also displays AM or PM along with the time. The projection can easily be seen at night but doesn't disrupt your sleep. (it doesn't have the TV-like glow the other one I ordered did). I love having the 5 levels to choose from. I've only had it for about a week so can't speak about durability but I will say, I would definitely order this again and also recommend it to anyone looking for this type of clock.

I really like this alarm clock, especially because of the time projection feature. Being able to look up at the ceiling during the night and see the time is surprisingly convenient. Instead of having to roll over, lift my head, or look directly at the clock on the nightstand, I can just glance up and know what time it is. It’s one of those simple features that you don’t fully appreciate until you start using it. The projection works best in a dim or dark room. In a brightly lit room, it does not show up very well, but that really isn’t a big issue for how I use it. At night, in a dark bedroom, the projected time is very easy to see. It is clear enough to read without being so bright that it lights up the whole room or becomes annoying while trying to sleep. I also appreciate that the projection is useful without being obnoxious. Some clock displays are either too dim to be helpful or bright enough to make the bedroom feel like an airport runway. This one strikes a good balance in a dark room. It gives me the information I want without feeling distracting. Overall, I’m very happy with it. The ceiling projection is practical, easy to see at night, and makes checking the time much more convenient. Just be aware that the projection is not meant for brightly lit rooms, but in the dark or low light where most people would actually use it, it works very well.

I'm old & really like this clock, was a little confused at first setting it up as the clock display on the ceiling was upside down so it took me a few minutes to figure it out. You press the little projector button twice and it turns the numerical numbers correctly depending on how you set your clock up.. when I turn over in bed during the night, I can now glance up at the ceiling to see what time it is, which is great for me as now I don't have to turn completely over towards the clock to see what time it is, plus strain as my old clock numbers were small. Then when I get up in the morning, I just press a little projector button and it turns projector off. But I also love the large numbers on the clock itself as I can read it from across my bedroom! Oh if you're setting up during daylight, you won't be able to see your projected numbers on your wall or ceiling it needs to be somewhat dark in the room for original set up,(dahhh) so perfect for the elderly. I do recommend this Clock. Great price :-)

I had the radio version of this clock from probably 10+ years ago that finally died on me, becoming unresponsive to any button presses, and I was so glad to see they still make a projection clock just like it. This one doesn't come with a radio but that's fine. The projection is MUCH bigger, brighter and clearer than my old one ever was. I aim it from my nightstand to the wall directly across the room (probably about 13 feet) and it is perfectly clear and readable and quite large. If I could critique anything about it, I would prefer that the AM/PM text appear to the side of the numbers rather than above but it's not a big deal. The brightness settings for the projector are pretty good too - it can be made quite dim to not be distracting at night, but I've found even on the brightest setting, a dark room is still dark and the light of the numbers don't reflect or light up anything around them. As someone who likes a pitch black room, the projector being on the brightest setting doesn't bother me. The same can't be said for the clock itself though. I keep the brightness setting on the lowest setting there as the light from that does expand out and light up the area around it, which is distracting for me when trying to sleep. All in all, really great projector clock! Most people probably see the projector feature as a bit of a gimmick but I really love it as I can be laying in bed, look across the room and see the time without having to turn to my nightstand or phone to see it.

I purchased this clock 2 years ago. It's held up great. Since it has a backup battery, when there's a power flicker, it doesn't lose its time, so huge plus there. The only thing I've noticed is that it gets a minute behind every once in a while. Over the last 2 years, I've had to add a minute about three times. I only notice it because my phone alarm goes off at 6, but the projection still shows 5:59. I haven't used the alarm, so I have no idea about the sound or if there are volume options there. I have the USB cable plugged directly into a USB port on my power strip, so it conveniently doesn't take up one of the outlets. I have the blue one. It's nice and bright and easy to read. The highest brightness is fine for me, but when I have one of my friends come over who needs the room to be dark to sleep, it's convenient that the projection can turn off and the brightness of the clock can be turned down. Overall, it's a great clock and I would buy again if I needed another one. I've recommended it to other who were looking for a projector clock.

Works great. I've had it for a year and a half, still projects the time on my ceiling. It's definitely worth the price. Good value. All I use is the projector clock, so I don't know about any of the other features or whatever.

I really like this projection ability, but mine came with the projection upside down unless I project it to the wall behind the clock. I was able to find a place that it works OK for an alarm clock because I can see the projected time from bed. But the main clock feature is not facing where I would want it to face.

Ich bin total happy mit der Uhr... habe die weiße Schrift mit roter Projektion genommen und es tut was es soll. Man kann beide in der Stärke einstellen, so dass es nicht zu hell und nicht zu dunkel ist, man muss es nur nach belieben anpassen. Genau was ich wollte.
