Leadingstar Women's Velvet A-Line Swing Party Dress

I absolutely love this dress. It fits better than I could have expected. I went by the size chart, not the size I usually wear. I am 5"4' and 150lbs. Usually wear a size Large, but by my measurements on the chart here recommended a Medium, which is what I ordered. It fits perfectly and has plenty of wrap around to not show too much leg or cleavage. I wore it for a wedding and wasn't too hot. Has a decent amount of stretch to be comfy. Super flatering too. 100% recommend!

This is such a pretty Christmas dress ! My mom bought be an antique velvet coat and I ordered this to go with it for my works holiday party. For reference I am 6ft tall and a size 4- this will be longer on you if you’re not as tall as me. It’s very pretty. The fabric is nice and thick and has stretch. I ordered a small and it is true to size. Cute!

I was very eager to wear this dress for the holidays, however it was MUCH too largeI went by the size chart in the images, which said 26.77 In waist. I expected it to be a little large on me as I have a 25 In waist.The waist fell higher than my natural waistline so I actually measured myself at 26 in. I was still able to pull a bunch of 4-5 in of fabric to one side.It was also a bit large in the bust but not nearly that drastic.The sizing may have been off, HOWEVER the quality of the dress was really good! Stitching looked great, thick material, and a very rich emerald green color!Also when I requested refund, I received that refund ONE DAY after I dropped my package in the mail.All in all, disappointed it didn’t fit, but happy with the seller & quality

Just got this dress and I love it! *however* do not size up. Especially if you are curvy. Based on other reviews I bought an XL, and I definitely could have gone with a L or M. There is a zipper on the side, and the dress is supposed to be a tight fit. It still looks cute loose, but for a fit more like the pic, go with your usual shirt size.For reference my measurements are roughly 40x35x48 and I’m 5’5”.

I just recently purchase this for my wife for her to wear to a Christmas party we will be attending. I ordered the green velvet dress and we were very impressed by the vibrant color. I debated whether to order her a Large or an XL because of how tall she is ( 5"7). I would order a size up because I feel they may run small

It fits great. Everything is great about it. It's soft and not too short on me BUT it looks red in the pictures...it says Burgundy, yes but the pictures show a bright red dress so I thought maybe that would be it but it's actually burgundy not red, so that's disappointing. I wanted a red dress for Christmas so I will be returning it and possibly buying the green one instead.

I bought this dress because , while I usually enjoy wearing dresses , I’m sadly working from home which doesn’t really create many chances nor occasions to dress well . Being a mom to a young child helps with that even less , so I had slacked a bit on my outfits .This beauty got me back right into gear just like I knew it would when I first saw it on amazon .It’s entirely made of velvet , which makes it very comfortable, the size is just right , which believe me , is not easy to get as a curvy plus sized woman.And as for the looks ! I could tell you about those all day , but this picture is worth more than a million words !!! I am in so in love , there aren’t any words .The length is just right , the cloth is the right thickness as well: not “ see-thru” but not unbearably heavy either . The velvet it is made of , is the best quality type of velvet and still very easy to wash . It seems to be stain resistant also, at least this is what it is appearing to be, based on my everyday use experience .Not to mention the impeccable and quick service that got me my brand new shiny outfit right at my door faster than I could click “order”.If you have any question about sizing , that is EASY!Whichever size you normally wear is what you should order: I just received it , washed it right away and comfortably threw it on .I have already recommended this dress to a couple of my friends who asked me where I got it from .

I didn't want a red dress I wanted burgandy.... I needed a dress to wear to a friends wedding quickly when another dress I bought didn't work out. I hoped this one would work... I've bought a few wrap dresses in the past and the silhouette had always worked with my frame. Alas this one did not. My girls were obscenely on display and I went up to an xxl. (I'm a 40ddd) I'm a large in most brands xl if I want a comfier fit. It was a bit short in the front and really long in the back like I had a train. I also wasnt thrilled with the fabic... I felt is was a few steps from being Halloween costume velvet but for $30 I guess I shouldnt complain. I sent it back and the search continues....

Wow!! So in love with this soft, velvety, stretchy, perfectly fitting dress. Perfect length and so soft on the inside. Ordering more ASAP.
