Women's Vintage 1950s Sleeveless Dress with Boat Neck Inspired Rockabilly Swing Dress

I absolutely love this dress and get compliments on it everywhere I go. It is incredibly comfortable and beautiful I feel like a 1950s movie star! However, it's little big on me but that's because I ordered the wrong size.I had someone measure me and I thought their measurements seemed a bit off but I went against my better judgement and did what they said and sure enough, it was too big. Had I gone with my gut it would've been the perfect size. Unfortunately I waited too long to return it but I will absolutely buy another dress from this company! They are so sweet, they even sent a personalized letter! It was completely my fault that I ordered the wrong size and and in no way reflects the company or the sizing with the dresses. If you know what you're supposed to order or know your size then go with your gut feeling.Color: Dark red. Like a wine but not purple at all. A true, beautiful deep red.Feel: Firm but not stiff, has a beautiful skirt that will splay outward if you twirl. Does come wrinkled but a quick wash and low tumble dry then hang dry will fix it.Size: Again, a bit too large for that is my fault and in no way reflects the company. I now know what size to order and my next dress will be perfect.

The good: Super cute cut, flattering, and comfortable-- especially over the hips, got lots of compliments, great price, lightweight casual fabric can be dressed up or down. Shipping was much faster than the estimate.The good-to-know: I had the dress taken in three inches in the waist and had the arm holes taken in a bit as well. I ordered a medium, and I have 36"bust, 29" waist, and 41"hips. I wore it with a 25" black petticoat, which is long enough for an inch or two to show below the bottom hem.The not-so-good: The quality matches the price-- there were several hanging threads, and the fabric started to come off one of the buttons as soon as I took it out of the packaging. The buttons seem to barely be attached- they survived the wedding I went to, but I'll be reinforcing them. Also, it was moist in the plastic bag packaging, so the cotton fabric was super creased.Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I may order a size small in another color or cut from the same seller, but I'll make sure I have time to get it cleaned and pressed before wearing.

This dress is everything!!!! I really like this dress; the fit is as expected and please know I added a crinoline petticoat of the same color. It is well made; the construction is very professionally done; the fabric has a nice sheen to it and looks expensive. I was so very hesitant to buy this dress but once received, know that I am well pleased with this purchase. This dress and very feminine and classy especially with a simple pearl set.

Very pretty, fits well, and a great value. The material is nice but it was a little short for me so I did not keep it. I would be curious what others have said about how well the color holds up after washing.

Spectacular little dress! I love it. It looks just like the pictures and fits wonderfully. Follow the size chart! I usually wear a 12/14, 36DD, and buy a dress in an XL if there's no stretch. According to the size chart I bought an XXL and it fits like a dream - no pulling or tightness, even on the bust. I'll probably wear this with a little crinoline to puff out the skirt, but it really is spectacular. I thought the little belt would be weird but it nicely lengthens the bodice. Highly recommended.

Super cute dress. Long enough to wear to work. Fabric is a pretty typical printed cotton, a little stiff (think: fabric straight from the bolt in a craft store), but the pattern is vibrant. A weird thing: It comes with a separate belt-piece, which is basically a band of the same fabric with a two-button closure. You can wear it with or without (I wear it with, because I think it defines the waist a bit more, but it looks fine without). Cute dress; follow the size chart.

Not a true navy color as I'd hoped. Fit was a bit tight. Otherwise very pretty.

I bought this loving the preview image. I will say the fabric is thick, and the fit is nice. I wore it to a company party and fit in perfectly! It was great.My ONLY gripe is that the seams come up right over my boobs... resulting in what appears to be nipples no matter what I do.I would also love this dress more if I got it tailored, which may not be worth it for a $30 dress.All in all, it was a solid purchase, and I'm sold on the style.
