Thunderstorm By Demeter For Women. Pick-me Up Cologne Spray 4.0 Oz

This isn’t a beautiful or sexy scent. This is atmospheric. It instantly calmed me down, I’m an anxious person. But it calmed me down and felt made me feel nostalgic. I love it. Though, I realize it’s not for everyone. It’s very earthy and has a wet moss, almost minty smell. But, it is a favorite for me. I really love this scent. Will buy it again.

Was hoping for more of a rainy ozone atmospheric pavement kind of smell but all i'm getting is dirty wet grass. I know fragrances are subjective and evidently a lot of people do like this scent, but for me this is the first scent I fully did not enjoy the smell of. It made me feel a little ill anytime I got a whiff of it. If petrichor for you is the smell of soaking wet grassy fields and dirt, you might enjoy it. Some have described it as a clean smell but for me it is quite damp and musty in a bad way. Maybe there are some layering opportunities here but even for an eau de cologne this is incredibly strong and long lasting. Mixing this with some of my favorite EDP scents did not work. The grass smell just cut straight through. A miss for me unfortunately.

It smells like petrichor for the first few minutes which is what I was looking for. Then it becomes completely unbearable.

Scents are subjective. I absolutely love this one, but I would have named it differently. To my nose, it’s less thunderstorm and more fresh cut grass. The smell is still great and worth the price. I’ve been pairing it with a pink rose fragrance, and together they are lovely.

Just like the title says, It smells like bottled summer rain. Comes in a nice, big 4oz glass bottle, and lasts for a couple hours which is quite good (for me at least). This scent can pair nicely with some other perfumes or colognes as it has a relatively light scent, strong at first with a heavy petrichor smell but it tapers off to a light, floral sweetness that reminds me of the way a garden might smell after some rain. 5/5, highly recommend

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I bought this (my friend told me to buy it). But I LOVE THIS. When it is first sprayed, it smells like wet, freshly cut grass and dirt. Once it dries, it fades to a sweeter (but not too sweet, thank goodness) scent that is reminiscent of how someone smells after they were just rained on. The scent lingers close to the skin and lasts on me for about 3-4 hours (I hear this is good longevity for a demeter). I personally love that it isn't a super strong smell that takes up a whole room because I hate when other peoples' perfumes (no matter how good it smells) assault my senses, so I wouldn't want to do the same to others. I will say, it does vaguely remind me of patchouli oil. So if you're not a fan of that, you might not want to get this.

After ordering a sampler from Demeter, I immediately knew I had to order a full sized bottle asap. Found it here for much cheaper. It arrived on schedule, in it's original box, packaged nicely. I immediately sprayed it to make sure it was the real thing, and it is! This scent has become a necessity for me. I wear it as an everyday scent, sometimes layered with wet garden or lilac, but mostly on it's own. I spray it on my body and on my clothes, 4 inches away, and it lasts all day. It's a love it or hate it fragrance. Most people love it, and I'm it's biggest fan! It is so unique and spot on. It really does smell like the air and earth just after a thunderstorm on a humid Michigan day. Ozone, wet soil, it is amazing. I call it happiness in a bottle. Couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase. Thank you!

I’m super impressed. I love the smell, truly authentic and ozone rain, electric quality to it. Thunderstorm has delivered! My second favourite Demeter fragrance, nearly as good as “Dirt”!

Mi aspettavo una fragranza corrispondente alla descrizione: profumo di pioggia e terra bagnata (petrichor). Magari se non proprio così, almeno qualcosa tipo erba fresca. Dopo un mese di attesa apro la confezione, spruzzo sul polso l'essenza: un intruglio chimico pungente. Questo è quello che mi arriva all'olfatto. Poi a qualcuno magari piacerà, ma per me non andrebbe bene neanche come deodorante per ambiente. Peccato.

Preso dalla curiosità della fragranza l’ho comprato, ma è qualcosa di disgustoso e nauseabondo per me, non vi lasciate ingannare però dalla marca perchè la Demeter fa profumi fantastici e meravigliosi

don’t blind buy this unless you’re a little freaky and weird. smells like you’ve rolled around in fresh cut muddy grass on a rainy day. develops into something quite mild and metallicy i like it though!

Awful smell. Smells like put pure alcohol.
