Shinko SR241 Trials Tire (4.00-18 64P)

Took off the trail death wing. Haven't been off road but that stock trail wing was squirrely even on pavement. This tire tracks well and I love that it sits about an inch higher than stock. The one thing about all these dual sport bikes is the tendency toward giving the rider a Tranny Tuck because the seat slants forward; this mitigates that issue to some degree.

Tire was mounted to the front of my dual sport Yamaha TW200. Tire has severe axial runout that I noticed when riding paved roads. The “hopping” of the tire at higher speeds, 30-50 mph makes it dangerous and difficult to control. Appears to be a manufacturing issue. I’m having matching tire mounted as a replacement. I will follow up this review, once I’ve ridden the replacement tire, noting whether or not this seems to be an isolated issue.

Simple to mount, WD40 lube slipped right on no spoons required, fits under fender perfect not really much different in clearance from stock Tailwing tire, I didn't have to balance mine good at 60 mph, rides great, I checked the durometer of the stock Trailwing was 75 A and the Sninko was 60 so it will wear faster, but much better at gripping more like a Trials bike tire !! A++++ rating

Fit my Yamaha TW200 perfectly. The OEM Death Wing tire would bounce around inside a wheel rut and this one climbs right out. I almost fell the first time since I was leaning the wrong way expecting it to bounce off. It took some getting used to since it handles so differently.

This tire is great for the TW200! For once my front tire has more traction than the rear. Works great on rocks and off camber slopes. The tire arrived a week earlier than quoted as well.

These are a soft, high profile on/off road tire. At first I was concerned that they would be a little too soft given the stiff nature of the stock CJ tires. But they work and wear just fine, and the ride, though noticeably "squishier" than the stock tires, is smoother and they seem to have better grip in wet conditions. Personally I like the look with these tires, it feels a little more classic CJ without giving up too much street performance.

Enduro freeride 250… i come from a maxis trialmax. this thing is hard as hell so will last a few seasons. low grip in dry rocks and loose terrain even running at 8psi. I don't know how it runs in wet and in don't want to know. good that it will last a lot and it will make me improve my skills. then when I get a grippy tire I will be like a pro. Update: this crap does not work for Enduro, it slides off in dry, mud, wet, loose. too hard compound for off road

Replaced 40 year old Dunlops. Nice and soft, Fit perfect, easy to mount. works well dry and wet and in between. Senior sportsman rider.
