I have been taking this product for over a year now. I think it works for me as a sleep enhancer and for after workout muscle recovery. But the stupid use of petroleum based coloring agents should be phased out sooner than 2027 as suggested by RFKjr. Although not yet fully banned (as of early 2026), the FDA announced plans to phase out these petroleum-based synthetic dyes from the food supply (which would include dietary supplements if they are ingested): • FD&C Red 40 • FD&C Yellow 5 • FD&C Yellow 6 • FD&C Blue 1 • FD&C Blue 2 • FD&C Green 3 These are widely used artificial colors but are targeted for removal by regulatory action through ~2027

I used to struggle with falling asleep, but ever since I began taking PM sleep and recovery pills, I've noticed a significant improvement in my ability to fall asleep faster and feel that my muscles are more recovered the following day. However, I've also noticed a downside – I tend to feel more tired during the day, which could be due to poorer sleep quality.. but overall I believe it made a difference since taking them

I’m surprised at how great I feel after taking these at night. I really like the combo of chamomile, valerian, magnesium, and melatonin. I’ve tried magnesium supps before but would wake up in the middle of the night. Melatonin usually leaves that groggy feeling in the morning. Valerian would help me fall asleep but again wake up in the mid of night. But the combo really ensures I fall asleep and stay asleep. It could be the addition of the theanine or B6 but I wake up great with no groggy feeling. This is a new level of awesome for me and I’ll continue to buy these. Highly recommend you try it. I know everyone is different and other people can be more or less sensitive to supps so this is worth a try. If it helps like it does me then great!

I take the Animal Pak vitamins religiously as well as several other supplements but I do not recommend this one. I found these and decided to give it a try. The past few nights have been rough. Weird dreams and constantly waking are making rest impossible. Every morning I’m nauseous and run down like I had too much MSG the night before. It’s possible that this formula affects me differently and I will continue to use the other products but I’m done with Animal PM.

I hesitate to score these without being more of an expert on the science behind all the ingredients and related delivery design. I’ve been taking them for a couple years so I’m not a hater. As a late night gym rat, my needs are little different than others. These do have the melatonin effect of gradual sleepiness onset (maybe 45 mins). I’m 6’, 220 with good muscle mass. These come in little baggies that are fairly easy to open but it is a lot of pills to swallow. Some are gel caps and others or smaller horse pills. It’s probably good for me that I have to drink so much water just to take them. If they could reduce the number and make them all gel caps, I would be much happier. I never feel groggy in the mornings, but I also hit the coffee first thing. Many of the top supplement companies are releasing sleep supplements for various needs, including workout recovery. Momentous has a melatonin sleep formula with 2 small gel caps that have a nice taste, and I often take them because they make me tired faster and are so much easier to swallow. With creatine and other vitamin supplements, this huge bundle of pills might not be necessary. They are, however, a great value!
