Super sturdy
Love the rustic look of these. Super easy to put together and fits all sizes. Son is 6’4 and daughter 5’8 I’m a fiddle in the middle and we all can adjust easy to fit under counter

Holds my fat self while I do my make up
This stool is super sturdy. I sit my lard butt on it and do my make up every day. I love I can raise and lower it. It was very easy to assemble. It's really super nice. I use it as a make up stool, but it would work as a stool anywhere or even as a cute side table.

Extremely solid and sturdy
Got these to go with the art table my son made for our grandchildren. I wanted them to be strong enough that an an adult could also sit on them, and these definitely fit the bill. I love absolutely everything about them except the "faux distressing" on the seats, which looks, well frankly, pretty fake. Since the size and everything else is perfect, and we want to change them to the same color as the table, we are going to sand them down and re-stain. The seats are nice and thick, real wood, so that won't be a problem. Overall, I love them and they are certainly worth the price. To the maker: I would ditch the fake distressing and just leave the seats smooth, they would be better.

Durable
This stool was very durable and well made. We used 2 of them in one of our vacation rentals. May want to put something uner the legs that will not scratch the floor.

Reminds me of stools I grew up on
I love this stool. Purchased for doing wood-work at benches of various heights. When I am not using it in the garage, it sits in the kitchen behind the bar or by the couch as a make-shift side table. Some reviewers have talked about a slight wobble. When the chair is 100% lowered to its lowest position, there is 0% wobble. I mean this thing is rock solid stable. Now, let's talk about when it is not 100% lowered. If the lever is not locked tightly, then the amount of wobble is equal to the play in the threads -- about 1/32". I fully understand that to eliminate that very slight wobble you would have to redesign the chair and then it would not be the same chair. I will re-iterate though that when the lever is locked at any height, there is no wobble. The wobble comes into play when you are sitting on it and you forget that this really is not designed to be a swivel chair when you are sitting on it, and you rotate it, thereby loosening the locking lever. None of this bothers me, because again, if they changed the design to eliminate that rustic feature, it would be a more modern chair. I love these rustic chairs for all their beauty, mechanism, style, and yes, even 1/32" wobble when you (purposefully?) loosen the lever slightly. As a child, I remember sitting on chairs like these and rotating just enough to allow it to wobble, I would then grab the pedestal with both hands and rock left and right without lifting the legs off the floor. It satisfied my, then (though I doubt I ever grew out of this) need to rock but was always scolded if the legs came off the floor. So as many reviewers have said, there is a slight wobble. I've tried my best to explain it, why it happens, how you can avoid it, and even added some charm to it. Hopefully it does not dissuade you from being interested in these chairs. I am certainly looking at buying more. I just can't decide if I want the same height or the taller one. Last but not least, the seat is wide. I love that most about it. Oh, and the foot ring is absolutely wonderful. I use the foot ring all the time.

Disappointing but functional
I ordered these stools because I needed one to use while I throw on my pottery wheel. They look very similar to the ones at the community studio so I was hoping they'd be the same. While they might look identical, they are severely lacking in quality and ruggedness. Other reviewers complain about the distressing on the top of the seat. That's not a big deal to me but the fact that it's fake bothers me. The fake wood grain does not align with the grain visible on the side, leading me to believe the seat is made up of really cheap junk wood they tried to pass off as oak by having fake wood grain and distressing. You can tell all the weight is from the steel frame and not a solid chunk of oak. The height is adjustable, but once you tighten down the handle to lock it in place, the seat no longer swivels. Even when it is locked in place, the head of the seat still rocks. The feet on mine are NOT adjustable either. They come with plastic inserts instead of screw in pads. The welding on one stool is very poor as well. It's like I received a knock off of the product that was advertised in the video. I find them comfortable to sit on and they will suit their purpose for now, but I am pretty disappointed.

Great adjustable industrial style stools
After adding the kitchen island we needed small stools to fit under the drop leaf. These arrived well packaged, assembled in minutes and are perfect for our space. Both wooden seats have matching finishes and I like they are adjustable from 17" to almost 21" which are perfect chair height for children or adults. They are a good value, sturdy and easy to move with solid construction. I would recommend and buy again.

Sturdy, remarkably comfortable
I have been looking for new stools for some time and finally decided on these. I wanted something with a definitive foot rest and something that had some substance to it. I did not want a bunch of intricate posts, rails, etc that I was going to have to dust either. Something straightforward, sturdy, functional yet industrial looking. Nailed it.
