Kokuyo KB paper both FSC-certified paper 64g A4 500 sheets KB-39N (japan import)

I use this paper to make custom inserts and note pads for my Midori Traveler's Notebook. I make calendars, lined paper, dot grid, and graph. It has a coating on it that prevents bleed-through and ghosting of fountain pens. It has a great feel as well. It feeds through my laser printer with no problem, although there is an occasional creased page when printing both sides, I would say this is less than 5% of the time. At 64 gsm this paper is thinner than "typical" copy paper, which means in space-conscious applications like portable notebooks it works well where you can get more pages into the same thickness. The thinness doesn't feel like "cheapness" at all. I would call the color of this paper "cream". It is a pleasing color, but definitely not white. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this paper.

This paper is perfect for fountain pens. I tried like 20 inks from very dry ones to very wet ones. All perform perfectly on this paper. No bleeding, no feathering, no through, just nothing. Everything is perfect. Actually I already bought twice in 4 months. Perfect performance with a great price. I use however I want to without worrying about my wallet. THE PAPER every fountain pen user should have.

Best reasonably priced paper for fountain pens that I have ever came across. Bought one (500 sheets of) A4 pack, and was blown away by the quality of the paper - no bleed-though on anything, very tactilely pleasing (if that's a word), and would recommend to anyone - 10/10. ONLY USED FOR PHYSICAL WRITING don't know how this paper would do in a printer, only used for writing with pens, fountain pens, markers, ect. Different size than standard-american-printer-paper, but can't image it would be that different to adjust.

I have had variable quality across two different purchases for this paper. The first time, I got the US letter size and that had a significant amount of feathering and bleeding, although on some sheets but not on other sheets. I was totally confused as to why there are all these good reviews regarding fountain-pen friendliness. Then I got the A4 size, and I must say that the quality of that for writing with fountain pens is great. I have ordered yet another A4 sized ream and if this stays consistently good, then I would be willing to adopt this as my go-to fountain pen-friendly paper for writing.

I'm always looking for "inexpensive" fountain pen friendly paper. Since original tomoe river paper is discontinued (the Sanzen paper is an okay replacement) and Cosmo Air Light was discontinued, I was in the market for readily available (and less pricey) paper option. I use fountain pens exclusively and so my paper has to work with that. I've had luck with Kokuyo notebooks in the past and with $20 for a ream of A4 paper, I decided to give this a shot and am happy to report that this paper doesn't bleed through when swatching ink (if you use q-tips it doesn't bleed. If you use a watercolor brush, it'll bleed) and with regular writing (even with my flex Falcon nib) there is no bleed through, no feathering, glitter shows up wonderfully, and I get shading (the shading for chromoshaders isn't going to be like Tomoe river paper, but I don't expect it to at this price point). This will be my work horse paper. Since I'm mostly an B6 or A5 person, 1 ream will equal 1000 sheets. You can't beat that for $20.

I do a lot of math work; I use print paper as scratch paper. Made a world of a difference when I switched to Kokuyo print paper. The paper is soft, lightweight, works for a variety of pens and pencils. I love the slightly off-white color. It's makes the writing experience joyful! Will buy more when I run out.

This paper is pretty good. I got it to print and bind my own custom planner and be able to use my fountain pens and enjoy all the inks. While the paper is good quality and it does not bleed with standard fountain pen use, it does NOT showcase certain ink properties that I want like shading and sheening. You get a little bit of shading, but ZERO sheen. It's so disappointing!! So if that is what you're looking for, then look elsewhere. Otherwise, the paper itself is decent enough.

These paper are perfect for drawing and making cards for others.

Ce papier plutôt fin ( 64g/m2) permet une impression de qualité sur imprimante mais aussi d’écrire au stylo plume sans qu’il se transforme en buvard : - l’encre ne bave pas. Les trais sont aussi fins que sur bloc Clairefontaine Triomphe - l’encre ne traverse pas le papier (sauf si on utilise des stylos pour la calligraphie). - les couleurs des encres sont mises en valeur. En revanche les reflets colorés (sheen) n’apparaissent pas ou peu. Ce n’est pas du Tomoe River - il y a un peu de transparence du papier car il est assez fin. Dommage que l’emballage de la ramette ait été déchiré lors de la livraison. Sans dommage pour le papier heureusement.

Como siempre, Amazon proporcionando un servicio de entrega excelente (al menos en mi caso). Tenía cierta preocupación por otras reseñas donde mostraban sus paquetes abiertos y las hojas maltratadas, pero a excepción de una mínima rotura y una esquina de todas las hojas ligeramente doblada que se ven en las fotos, mi paquete llegó en perfectas condiciones dentro de una caja aproximadamente del tamaño del paquete de hojas: Ancho casi exacto y largo excedido como 5 cm a ojo de buen cubero, suficiente para que no viniera suelto adentro. Ni hablar del papel, al ser japonés, la calidad es excelente y mucho mejor que la basura de papel que nos venden en México, además, el precio es más que excelente, en mi caso fueron 414 pesos, hay cuadernos de 80 hojas que me cuestan eso o más. Yo soy usuario de pluma fuente exclusivamente y este papel es excelente para tal uso, no tiene feathering ni ghosting (perdón, desconozco como se digan ambos términos en español) y no se transparenta al reverso. En la foto muestro una prueba con Teranishi Brilliant Mint y Diamine Celadon Cat, esta última hasta presenta un brillo (sheen) en plata casi como si fuera mica (shimmer), seguramente con tintas que tienen alta saturación el brillo será espectacular. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.
