This product is very comfortable, best product on the market for use with a foley catheter and urine collection bag!
These shorts are amazing. They are very well made, comfortable, and functional. The bottom of each leg has a "buttonhole" for the drain spout. Buy the collection bags that have a flip mechanism (Hint: tape up the flip mechanism for extra safety). Do not wear the screw type drain valves because they may drip from over tightening and strip the plastic drain screw. You can imagine the consequences. The shorts have a built in sleeve on each leg, which means you can alternate leg placement of the bag, which I recommend. The pants support the weight of the bottom of the urine bag nicely, but when the bag is 1/3 to 1/2 full, liquid weight of the bag tugs mercilessly on your private part. Empty often. The small to medium size bags (500 ml-750ml) are sufficient, and don't even think of wearing a 1 liter bag. I gave the product a 5 but actually it deserves a 5+ if only the manufacturer had made one additional recommendation. Fortunately for all wearers of this product, the solution is sewn in. On the front, there are two "buttonholes" intended for bilateral nephrostomy tube entrances on the front of the shorts. For foley catheter folks such as myself, just use a velcro strip, the elastic leg band that they give you in the ER, a shoelace, bailing twine...anything. Thread it through the back of top slots of the urine bag, then through the buttonholes in the front, fasten, and voila! The top of the urine collection bag is now supported by the shorts. I bought one pair to try out, then quickly bought 4 more. I highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money. One potential disadvantage which is unavoidable: the length of the shorts go to the knees, like knickers, so in hot weather your thighs may get warm. Not a problem below 75 degrees. Given the alternatives of velcro strapping to the thigh, or fastening an adhesive backed plastic clamp to the inside of your thigh (tried both), the plastic collection bags against the thigh with these fastening systems make you sweat more than the Pro Bag Pant does. The material of the Uro Bag Pant does an adequate job of absorbing perspiration. This product vastly improved the quality of my life.

Suitable for double nephrostomy tubes!
I wish this product had a more complete description on the website. It does have two pouches, one for each of my bags, though the pouches are a little on the small size. I had to guess on the waist sizing, too, I went with "L", which is a 36-38 inch waist size, though it doesn't say that on the website. Fortunately, it was a good guess. These are quite comfortable, but I wish they came in a cut for women. It takes a while to get into them, too, so I just use my leg straps if I have to get ready in a hurry. They didn't shrink in the dryer, and you can't beat the price: everything else I looked at cost twice as much or more! These suit my needs nicely for now, because my tubes are supposed to be temporary, but if they become permanent I'll be looking for something designed specifically for nephrostomies, even if I have to pay a lot more. In the meantime, I am very grateful to have this and be able to go out without feeling like a freak and even comfortably get some exercise. Great value for the price!

Great For Regular Wear As Shorts!
Our only regret is that these shorts are not available in black, navy or brown. They are created as an under garment but my hubby uses them as a regular pair of shorts and loves them because his storage bag fits right in one of the two inner pockets provided. Order up a size to allow for typical shrinkage with washing and drying. These are really the only "user friendly" shorts I have found. I did a little "re-design" by adding a small pocket to the inside upper left to create a place for his insulin pump which fits right inside. We are pleased with these shorts and the pocket just adds more convenience. I have added a pair with the little pocket that I added so that hubby's insulin pump fits nicely.

Has great promise, but works well enough now.
Decent product and well priced, but needs work. I just started using a Foley and the leg straps are a joke. I use a string tired to a beltloop to hold the bag up. I wondered how the underwear would do it since I didn't see a way to hold the bag up thereby not allowing the collection bag to ball up. It didn't. I wish I had the string. Additionally, why is the house to the catheter in the outside when for the vast majority of us, the urine is going to come from within the confines of the underwear. Fix those two very important things and it will be an excellent product. It is nice not having those pesky straps around my leg.

A one-size or one-type urine bag pouch concept undergarment needs re-examining
While this product might be ok for some men or women; any man with hefty waist and traditional foley catheter with a 500-1000 cc bag will find design and function problem: 1) Bag with a liquid bunches up in a pocket unless supporting catches---fitting inside the bag side slots used for straps---keep the bag vertical or support the bag, i.e., velcro catches or similar 2) Advise manufacturer to add design variation for men---especially---big or tall guys. 3) Opening for bag drainage spout needs modification for making drainage spout mechanism---twist or flip-flow--more accessible. Might also suggest slots or places for undergarment suspenders to catch for extra support. Nevertheless, applaud concept of providing adaptive undergarments for this purpose and would like to see design modification rather than a kind of uni-sex or one-size fits all product.
