Quality product for sealing gaps!
I purchased this product for my mailbox (Salabury vertical 3 door surface mount.) I was installing my three compartment mailbox outside without any covers, which means rain might pour through the gaps in the mailbox. Due to the mechanism of how the Mailman/ Mailwoman opens the mailbox door and the design of the mailbox, I had to come up with a sealer that would work in the harsh outside condition. After research I found this flexible gap sealer with rain drop shape, which worked perfectly for my situation. (The shape, the size, the color, and the quality all fits.). After product arrived, I trimmed it to the size I needed and installed with additional silicone adhesive to reinforce the bonding. I left it to dry overnight and it turned out as expected-air tight seal. It has been a few months now, and the product is still functioning!This small gap sealer not only can be used for doors and windows, but also to seal mailbox gaps (my situation) or any gaps for the same purpose. If this product fits your situation, I would definitely recommend it!

Promises to be an improvement to what I had access to in the 80's
I have not used it yet. But I am optimistic. I like that it actually came with some instructions regarding how to use.

Easy to install based on instructions.
It would be nice if it came with a cleaning wipe, but the product installed as expected and works well for my application. I used this one on a 36" metal door frame that came out of a warehouse and is now part of my home office to the garage.

Not just for doors!
I have 30+ year old aluminum wood clad windows. The seal has disintegrated on many of them. I've been looking for a replacement product for a couple of years. This one finally met my needs. It compresses to 1/16" and that's just what I needed. East to install. Excellent adhesion. No movement when I open/close window.Did not rate warmth as it's still 70 degrees in Pittsburgh!
