Glassheart

I have been waiting a very very long time for Glassheart and it definitely was worth the wait. It's a mix of old and new Leona styles. The songs titled Un Love Me,Lovebird, Fireflies, Stop the Clocks, When It Hurts, and Fingerprints are all the type of tunes that Leona fans typically would enjoy from her. She surprises us though with Trouble, Come Alive, I to You, Shake You Up, Favourite Scar, Glassheart, and on the deluxe version of the album, Sugar. Also, the acoustic versions of Come Alive, Trouble, and Glassheart, on the deluxe version of the album, are beyond amazing. Whether you like Leona's music or not it really can not be denied that her vocals are beyond spectacular. Few singers have a voice half as good as hers and she deserves massive amounts of praise for this fantastic album.

I have been a huge Leona fan ever since & I own ALL her Albums & They are all wonderful.BUT Glassheart is by far her BEST WORK! Every song is beautiful & brilliant & her vocals are even more immaculate than ever! I can't tell you which is my fave track since they are all so damn good! But I will handpick 'Lovebird' 'Shake You Up' & 'When it Hurts' as core tracks in this beautifully written masterpiece that is Glassheart! <3I personally thought Leona should release an Acoustic set and luckily for me the Deluxe I purchased has 3 of them. I can't get enough of them! Leona Live is truly a force to reckon with, truly a class act!GET THIS ALBUM!!!<3

Great cd

First off, I have to complain on how difficult it was to obtain this CD in the US. This CD had to be purchased online and US iTunes and Amazon didn't even have it on MP3s. So when I got this CD, I was excited to hear it. This CD contains a different style from Leona's previous material. This CD is more of a dance CD, if you are into that. I prefer her ballad style, but overall the CD was still good. I would must rather listen to her last two albums though.

This was such a beautiful listen. Leona has the innate ability to convey emotion through her voice. Songs like Glassheart give you the dance sound of its time. While songs like “When it hurts” or “lovebird” show such vulnerable sides. Although the will later be the predecessor to one of her best albums “I AM”

I have always been a fan of Leona since her first CD. For me Echo was even better than Spirit. Glassheart however surpasses both albums by a long shot. Since being first released in the UK last October I was patiently waiting for this album to become available in the States, however after 9 months of impatiently waiting I just couldn't wait any longer so I decided to order from amazon. With that being said, Glassheart, is possibly once of the best albums I have ever had the privilege of listening to. It's definitely in my top 3. If you are a fan of Leona you don't want to miss this album. It's that good. My favorite among favorite tracks are Un Love Me, Lovebird, Come Alive, I to You, Stop the Clocks, Glassheart, Fingerprint and the bonus track Sugar.

I bought this CD from a seller from the Oxford-UK who was not very customer-service oriented. Also, Amazon didn't help either with this transaction.This is a 2-CD and while the CD showcases Leona's voice well, I thought the selection of songs could've been better. I mean, there's a couple of catchy tunes but other than that, it's just filler. I mean, if you didn't buy Leona's last CD, buy this one, otherwise, skip it or buy it used.

I am so disappointed...which seems to be a growing tradition when it comes to video games, music, and movies. I don't know what is going on? Are people getting so rich they think that they think they can just put out garbage to say they did something so they can go back to there rich and bragging lifestyles and that we won't notice. What happens when we stop buying your stuff, and all that money runs out. Where will you be then?Leona Lewis is one of my favorite artist, I am a fan and I write this with nothing but love and respect, but this album is complete garbage. I went back and listened to her old stuff wondering what the people were saying when they reviewed that this one is better then the last two, and upon careful inspection I say those people are nuts. This album is sloppy, uninspired, and shouldn't be called Leona Lewis. She doesn't even sing in this album, like Christina, Mariah Carey, and a lot of good singers who feel they can put out a album without singing and a lot of autotune.I mean was it that the old songs were written by someone else, and Leona Lewis own stuff is crap. I mean what happened to this album, no singles, did she self produce it. Where are all the grammy award winning producers, because it surley doesn't feel like there was a single one working on this album. I mean the music is uninspired, talking about anything important or relevent I mean is this even Leona Lewis. What is going on? I thought she was going to be the next Mariah, but going like this she won't be the next Britney Spears. I mean where is the Bleeding Love, Can't Breathe, and all the other beautiful music I know she is capable of doing?Reviewing this as a product, I would say don't buy it, skip it and wait for the next album (lets hope that is better,) and go back to the others ones or purchase those.I really don't know what Leona was thinking putting her name behind something like this. I don't know what's going on with her career but it is not looking too good. Maybe she should shop around, I mean she is Leona Lewis.
