Full Face Makeup Palette and My Glossy Lips, My Smokey Classic, 11.4 Ounces

I ordered this as an Angel Tree gift for Christmas and the order came in the day before the gifts were due. I decided to open the item before wrapping it and it's a good thing I did; one of the eye colors was completely missing. I was so irritated I threw it out and had to go to the local drug store and pay a higher price to replace the item.

I like this little kit well enough but was disappointed that there were no basic how -to for application. I am a total newbie to wearing eye shadow so the kit without some direction is kind of worthless for me. Guess I will be checking out Youtube.

What a wonderful palette this is! I've been using mine for almost a year now and it most definitely delivers the perfect smokey eye. It is the perfect palette for an evening out or if you are looking for a more dramatic look. I own 2 of the Lauren Luke Palettes and I would recommend them to any women...you will love them. I am hooked on the creamy eye primers....they are a MUST HAVE in my book! They tend to keep the eye shadow in place all day and night. They also help cover up any dark areas around the eye. For the price of this palette, you cannot beat it! Also, there is so much make up in each container....I haven't even begun to make a dent in mine. A little goes a LONG way! Trust me, you will not be sorry if you order this!

I like the way that everything is in one large compact so that you're not having to fumble around looking for individual boxes. Plus, it's pretty much foolproof since everything goes together, all you have to to is apply and that's it, voila! Done. No more 30 - 45 minutes trying to look presentable.

But because the package was cheap plastic that arrived ripped (like it sat around so long the plastic case warped) looked so cheap

Once again, I bought this item from the Lightning Deals. With it's minimal cost, in addition to using up a gift card, I was excited to see what kind of quality the makeup was. The palette itself is very cute, though the mirror seemed extremely distorted. I only used it for reapplying lipstick during the day, so it wasn't horrible, but if you're planning on using it to update your entire face, it's a bit iffy. The colors themselves were gorgeous. The blush is considerably lighter than the picture shows, but all in all, it gives a very light sheen of color that is nice with the heavy, dark eyeshadows.The eyeshadow primer was definitely lacking. I think some of the oils or water might have gotten removed while shipping though since it's been abnormally hot here. The cream eyeliner had bubbles on top of it, so I'm not reviewing it poorly based solely on that failing. I applied it before using the eyeshadow, but had creases faster than if I hadn't used it at all. The eyeshadows and lip glosses are the shining factor in this palette. The eyeshadows went on beautifully and had a wonderfully rich color. The cream eyeliner went on well with a brush, but didn't stay in place on my lower lash line like I had hoped it would. Nonetheless, it was a bold color that I will definitely use for a night on the town, though maybe not for everyday work wear. The lip color was the same way. These are definitely on the red side of the spectrum though, so if you don't like a bold lip, this palette might not be the one for you. I especially love a red lip and a smokey eye so this was perfect.

The colors in this palette are so perfect. The only issue I have with it is that the black eyeshadow gets mixed up w/ the base and I end up having to wipe off a lot of base with a tissue or qtip before I can use it, because it gets mixed up in there.I think the quality of the makeup is quite good. When I put it on exactly how Lauren does in her youtube video, it lasts all day!I really love it for travel, though. All I have to take now is foundation, mascara, some loose powder, and this! No more multiple bottles and compacts of various colors.
