Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care Wet Dog Food

Been using this food for 2 years now. My dog is now 14 and doing well. Amazon canceled my last order because they couldn't get a hold of my vet. I buy them elsewhere now, but it is an excellent product.

Another one of my dogs favorites of the Hills K/D care food.

This canine fare is not cheap, but my 14-year-old min pin, recently diagnosed with kidney disease (which, in dogs, is already advanced, typically, at time of diagnosis) ceased and deceased having accidents all over our new house after being on it for a week, and she's been in control of her bodily functions ever since. There's no price on that, for her health, her dignity, everyone's peace of mind, and the sustainability of various new furniture, sheets and mattresses, etc...around our home. The condition, by definition, is degenerative. It can not be reversed, but symptoms can be managed, and diet is the key, I've learned. I'm so grateful for the Hills Science Diet!

It took my old miniature poodle well over a month and several variations of the k/d before he would clean his bowl without his previous kibble mixed in, but I could see results (he stopped ravenous drinking of water) well before that. We have settled into a routine of 1 can (split between morning and evening) plus a small amount of the k/d kibble per day to meet his requirements.

For the cost of this stuff you'd think it could have a pop top. The lids you can buy do not fit with the sharp edge. It's very solid and dense and solid for a canned food as well and you have to take time to chop it up. For and older dog it's hard to eat which defeats the purpose of special food for your elderly dog. After all that she will eat it but only if some softer dog food is mixed with it.

My pet (spitz) boy was suffering from Acute kidney disease and he completely stopped eating food by himself... After intensive treatment he recovered but my only worry was what to feed him. Then I found this product and it did wonder. He not only eats by himself but also eagerly waits for his next meal... Thank you Hill and also Amazon 💕

No tiene abrefácil. Por supuesto un abrelatas funciona, pero es la 1a vez que me llega asi. No es cómodo.

My dog suddenly was throwing up all the food, so we went to the vet and suddenly she was ok with this one. Need to give in really small quantity but only if your vet approves
