My yellow lab puppy is picky. She is now 4 months old, and I have been offering her this since she was around 8 weeks old. Sometimes she eats it, sometimes not. She will definitely eat this over other options, so I keep buying it. She likes it as a side dish, lol. Or stuffed into a Kong or other treat toy. I also feed her Purina One Plus large breed puppy kibble as well as Purina Pro Plan.

I love the purina One line
Ah, Amazon... Flavor? Really??? IDK why Amazon asks to rate flavor on dog food. Like... how the hell do you do THAT? I am NOT tasting the dog food so that I can rate the flavor of it. Just the smell and appearance alone tells me I do not want to go tasting it, but then again, I am not a dog. So... There's that. My dying frenchie ate it, so I am guessing the flavor met with her approval. Seriously though, I used this with a frenchie who had cancer and needed the extra calories as well as a diet easy on the digestive tract. Worked better than any other sensitive food for her. I truly love the Purina One foods when I cannot get a Purina ProPlan food that fits what I need.

My puppies eat this when they are just learning to eat. They seem to like it.

Okay as budget food
We bought Purina because it's what our shelter puppy was eating, and it initially worked fine with no issues. After learning more about dog nutrition, we chose to transition to higher-quality foods. We looked at independent rating sites like DogFoodAdvisor and PetFoodRatings, and ultimately decided to go forward with different brands that aligned more with our dog's needs and our standards. I highly recommend you do your research on what your individual dog needs and what is best for them. Not every dog is the same, and not every dog food brand is the same. I don't think Purina is bad food, but compared to others it lacks in nutrition, ingredients, and sources.
