Is this trap steady when fired and does it move when fired?

Easy to use ,there is a small chain to adjust the let off point as you wish .on soft ground the trap won't move because the feet sink in .The main spring is quite small and there's no tension on it until you press the foot peddle.push down slowly and evenly with your foot,as this is how the main spring is tensioned for launching the clay and it works a treat without any movement of the trap .

Have you found any issues with this clay trap yet?

Brought mine for occasional leisure use,it throws clays better than I thought it would for a very cheap trap,plenty of angles and a reasonable distance.Before I used mine I changed the threaded bolts on the moving parts for smooth shank bolts as mild steel will wear very quickly on the thread .I broke a few clays on throwing until I had got the retaining clip adjusted to the right tension.dont know how long it will last, but at the price point ,I'm happy,hope this helps.
