this is a book you can re read many times,the charicters are larger than life, you can feel the pain and the passion rolling off the pages.We have come a long way from those horrific days of slavery,but still have a long way to go before we attain harmony and equality.

read this book around 15 years ago its so good time just flies by very graphic brutal tender it is a must read if you have not already.first out in 1960.

This book is very well written and gives an insight into the slave trade and conditions on the plantations. The book was in fairlygood condition, and well worth the price.
