Do not be swayed by individuals who know nothing about boots. Take heed by possible blemishes and such absolutely but as for people saying that this leather does not break in simply laugh at it. As a former wildland firefighter I've gone through some boots; Danners, Whites and Drew's. And now my second pair and second model of Danner. These boots are insanely comfortable and after only three days of wear and some whites boot oil these babies are already feeling like slippers. Fastest break in process I have experienced. And holding up well to ground walking and roof composition as well. Enjoy.

I have owned these boots for almost 50 days now (November 8th), and I wanted to put some wear and tear on them before I give my review on the boots. As a Marine Veteran who wore the Danner Rat boots, I was in search of new boots and looked no further than Danner to fit the bill.The pictures above were taken only a few days ago after a couple of months of wearing them at least 3-4 times a week. Granted, I had just finished lathering some leather moisturizer on them, they have held up perfectly, and I am completely satisfied with Danner and their Moc Toe Boots. These are NOT steel toe, so keep that in mind. The boots fit my foot perfectly, and that hasn't changed since the time that I bought them. Initially, the boots are a little rough, but after a week of daily wear, they began to conform to my feet and were comfortable. Although rough to wear, I did not get any blisters on my feet.All in all, very satisfied with Danner and the Moc Toe boots and I look forward to buying even more of their products.

My husband is a construction worker. He is renovating a home currently. He has done much more extensive work at times. I spent close to $200.00 to buy him boots I thought would last. First impressions were he liked the boots and they fit well. The boots were delivered Jan 17; it's February 28 - stitching in the toe has completely separated. The seller only has a 30 day return policy. So disappointing!

i have to say i was about to cancel my order but they shipped them out already and honestly im so glad i didn't! so once they came i gave them a look and put them on. i was blown away at how nice they looked and felt. top notch quality as expected by Danner! now i will say comparing them to my redwing moc toe, the red wing leather is just thicker and better quality no doubt but not by a lot. also the redwing boots take forever to break in and i mean forever! OY! the danner sole is also softer than the redwing boot sole which will lead to faster wear out which annoys me a bit but also give more comfort. keep in mind you are paying under $200 for an american made boot of really nice quality. Danner moc toe also has a wider bigger toe box which i think just look better in a pair of jeans they are not as narrow as the redwings and especially the thorogoods which i think make your feet look too small. i can't speak of the durability just yet but i have heard good things and they can be resoled so ill see as time goes on. anyway if you are a boot guy buy a pair you won't regret it. later.

This boot seems to run wider than other Danners, probably due to the mock toe. It fits just right but if you normally order a wide (W) in Danners consider just the normal D in these. Overall great boots, I wore them out in some slick light snow and they are truly anti slip compared to other boots I own. I can't wait for them to get broken in, as a well worn pair of Danners are among the most comfy footwear in existence. Made in USA and durable, Danner is my go to. I have a pair pushing 10 years that are still serviceable and ultra comfy and with Danner's resoling service (something I plan to take advantage of soon) they will last another decade easy.There are a few things America still makes that noone else can compete with and quality boots are one of them. Buy USA made over that Chinese crap, yes you will spend more but they will last 10 times as long and you will have the piece of mind that you are supporting American craftsmen and an American industry. We also wore Danners in the Marine Corps, so there is that too.

After using the Christy model in the Bull Run series, I got these hoping for a slightly more open toe boxed set of boots that were as comfortable. The upper is just as great as the christy's and while the toe box is bigger, the lining is much worse with these boots. I'm not sure whether they were rushed or not but the lining rolls up when you put your foot into the boot and creates a pressure spot that can get uncomfortable, a problem with some Danner models which is why I don't wear my set of Crafters. Moreover, it is just the left boot that seems to have this problem. Hopefully this will go away with time as the foot-bed compresses and makes more room.Aside from that the boots fit relatively well and have the same soft step that I like about the Bull Run series. They are very easy to walk in and the leather seems like it will last a long time. I wish there wasn't any lining like Red Wing's as they feel more comfortable but these are certainly much cheaper. If you have narrow feet I'm guessing these boots will fit just fine. These are definitely easier on the toes, so if you don't like the longer break-in time of lace down boots, these are great.

I would put some power step insole in these just because it helps of u are on your feet all day. These break in hard so you will need to adjust the laces for the first week. The leather is very thick so I think these are indestructable but they dont breathe as good as the cheap ones. No tab on the back is my only complaint. That makes it hard to slip on. I would buy these again. Get some good oil and these will last u a few years. Buy American. Foreign boots are dispicable

This is my 5th danner boots, I’d never thought this boots is so awesome I should have bought this earlier, It looks great and bomb proof as well. Thank you so much I highly recommend this product.

They broke in easy, and are super comfortable. I ware a wide in most boots. The wide Danners are extra wide.
