King Crab Legs JUMBO (5 LBS)

Would recommend. Good experience.

We ordered these for Christmas dinner. They came packed in dry ice and were exactly what we were expecting. The legs were like the "old days" when King crab legs were big in the seafood section at the local market. We will be ordering from here every time.

Haven’t cooked them so not sure about quality, yet but they’re huge! Still frozen solid. Much larger than the last time I bought from here. Will cook Tuesday so can update quality ranking but so far thumbs up!!!

They arrive very frozen , very well packed , and absolutely a Christmas feast for a king .. sooo Yummyyyy!! That’s all my father in law is the talking about since yesterday to all his friends at the dinner . And they all want to know the name of the company that we bought . We are going to recommend to everyone.

There are different methods to cooking these, and I tried a few in the boil and the results were unfavorable. I then tried a long bake or broil until I smelled smoke in the oven. This resulted in all the juices evaporating and no extreme salty flavor that another commenter mentioned, and that I had also first tasted. This time after a very long bake, the meat was perfectly white with no excess salty flavor. Simply delicious and looked cooked to perfection. The legs cracked from the bake and were not soggy (which I had experienced and others from boiling).

These were much lower quality than pictured and the crab legs have some sort of black/brown parasite looking items on them. These arrived packed in a couple ice packs and did not arrive in dry ice as indicated. I am very disappointed with this purchase and their customer service.

Great quality for internet crab, but my local grocery had it for $20 cheaper per pound. The ones at the grocery where slightly smaller but nothing to shake a stick at. If I was further from the coast then pro ably not too bad of a price. Again quality was fantastic. Packaging could use a little work. Legs where starting to thaw when they arrived. Had other fresh meat/produce delivery and it was a better experience as far as wondering if it was still safe.

Oh how I wish we would like these more as we were so looking forward to them for my daughters birthday.They came much earlier than we expected (Saturday instead of Wednesday)which is OK. We carefully wrapped portion sizes in foil and stuck them in our freezer. Before preparing them a couple nights ago we took them out the day before and put them in the refrigerator to thaw overnight.When I opened up the foil to cook them fishy water went everywhere. After I got that cleaned up, we put them in the oven for about eight minutes to heat through. I found the crab legs unable to snap with my hands, the shells were a little soggy for lack of a better word. We cut them open with scissors, and a bunch more of the water came out. The crab inside the shell had like a weird coating on it. We wiped that off and stuck bite size pieces into some hot melted butter with lemon and garlic salt. Eating them soaked in butter made them taste better. Just taking a bite without any butter we found them really salty.This was an expensive indulgence for us. Just wish that would’ve came out better. I would not purchase again.
