Puracy Natural Dish Soap Refill, Gently Scented with Organic Lemongrass, Skin-Softening Plant-Based Liquid Dishwashing Detergent Soap, Clean-Rinsing Water-Sheeting Formula, 64 Fl Oz

We do not have a dishwasher, so we wash everything by hand. I don't understand the reviews that say this soap is thin or doesn't remove grease. It works just as well as Mrs. Meyers, Method, and it works better than other plant-based store brand soaps I have tried. I have tried other environmentally responsible dish soaps that were extremely thin and didn't get the job done or left residue on the glassware. I usually buy Method refills because they are the only brand in stores that make refills, but I was looking for an alternative. It is so frustrating that more companies don't make the refill bags. So much plastic waste. Keep in mind, depending on your local recycling, you may have to recycle this with plastic bags, which requires dropping off at a grocery store (at least for us). You can't put it in with mixed recycling. One suggestion for the company- can you try making the soap refills in cardboard cartons?One thing about the scent- It's a very mild lime verbena scent to me. No lemongrass. I am a huge fan of lemongrass and use essential oils a lot. This does not smell like lemongrass, but the scent is very pleasant. You won't be disappointed!

I just recently saw the back of my go-to Dawn dish soap only to see it contained SLS which is known to be extremely drying. My poor hands were proof of the damage it had done, as I don't always use gloves to hand wash. This soap fit the bill, it's gentle on hands, and while it doesn't suds up as much, my dishes feel squeaky clean and the light scent is so pleasant I almost wish it was stronger. Nothing like some aromatherapy while you wash! Highly recommend if you're trying to switch to cleaner products.

I just don't like the feel of this soap. It seems to slide off of things and stays globby (for lack of a better word). It would rather stay more solid than liquid - kind of like a hair gel rather than like a dish soap like dawn. The gel doesn't penetrate into thing until you really agitate it. And once you do, I dont find it to be great at cutting grease. It'll get the job done but I've used way better soaps. It doesn't suds much but I don't care about feothy bubbles.Scent is fine. I like it most when I'm using it. The scent left on my hands after washing dishes ends up smelling kind of like a cheap body spray rather than a natural lemon or lemongrass.Overall, it's fine. But I won't buy it again.

Like the Puracy products very much. Dishwashing soap handles grease beautifully. Husband still struggling to accept that something that doesn’t have lots of foam is really working, but he’s coming around.

Love the smell but I love NOTHING ELSE. This product does not clean anything close to ad well as the puracy baby bottle dish soap. That stuff cleans coffee stains and everything like a boss. This barely removes coffee stains and leaves residue in bottles.Also, when I received it it had leaked all over inside the envelope and the envelope was coming open. Overall, very disappointed. I hope this is a knock off version and not actually puracy.

Best price and deal for this great product! Minimal lather but just enough to get your dishes clean and it cuts through grease. I wont buy any other product after using this stuff. Its clear that other products leave a toxic residue on your dishes after cleaning them. This product does not do that, it all rinses right off easily, and smells great too! :)

i gave this brand a try as I am happy with their body wash. but i found this dish wash to be not what i expect. i ended up using much more per wash as compare to the other one i use (xxth generation dish wash).and since this is a refill, i use a squeeze bottle for regular use. near the end, the liquid became gel up (very solid-ish gel) that becomes almost impossible to squeeze out. that made a very frustrating experience to finish using all the dish wash.i am not using this again.

It cleans very well and you need very little product.After multiple washings without gloves it never made my hands dry too much.We were using Method or Meyer's before, this is as good as both for washing and as gentle as Method on your hands.Meyer's is a tad harsh.
