works for 5290 with modification
Please read. Quality is great i owned the proper keyboard for my latitude 5290 but i broke it and needed something asap cause half my screen touch is dead, idk why ever since new the middle of screen was dead so touch screen was not an option for me. With prime i got it in two days sadly it does not fit the 5290 without modification as it was made for other model advertised. The two tabs on the key board must be carefully cut as i have shown. once you cut it its yours NO RETURNS. also to make it sit flush you might have to cut the rubber boots on your dell. ill share some pictures of that as well. I never leave reviews but maybe someone in the same shoes as me could benefit from my insight. i cut it with a pocket knife, i cut it as deep as i could essentially etched it and then tapped it down with a hammer. must be done how i did it so the copper prongs can make contact and to not have issues from it moving and disconnecting whiles using so despite the other review saying they pried them off i do not recommend completely removing them as they serve as a guide. NOW IF YOU HAVE NO URGENCY JUST BUY THE PROPER KEYBOARD LOL

Perfect for a two in one.
This keyboard has been so useful and acts as a screen protector for your computer. I like how easily I can attach ans remove the keyboard in one second. I have had mine for over two years and it has never had any issues. The keys, TouchPad are all very responsive and very lightweight. If when not using the keyboard be mindfully of where you store it. It is magnetized, it will attract any metal to include minerals on the ground, metal shavings. I worked in all types of environments so just be cautious.

Beautiful keyboard, for 5285 & 5290 as well
The keyboard itself if BEAUTIFUL and at an amazing price. I just broke off a small part of the clips as described in other posts and it fit my 5285 & 5290. Took 30 sends with a pair of pliers. Do at your own risk, but I'm glad I did!

Ich benötigte eine Tastatur für mein convertible. Die deutsche Tastatur kostet ein vielfaches mehr. Einfach klebebuchstaben drauf und zack Geld gespart und eine spitzen Tastatur gekauft

10/10, buena iluminación, detección inmediata, un touchpad bastante bueno, solo bastó con comprar unos stickers para el idioma, porque, aunque el inglés sea uno de mis idiomas más utilizados, sigo acostumbrado a la distribución en español, pero de otra manera me hizo ahorrar mucho comprar por separado la dell 7200 2en1 y este teclado, lo cual le hace lucir más ya que solo la tienen en venta reconstruida.
