Panasonic RF-2400 AM/FM AC/DC Portable Radio

This is a great AM/FM radio no bells no whistles just great sound whether you have batteries or not. I live over a mountain, 21 miles from town and it brings in the stations that I love. Crystal clear the volume is perfect. I can hear it anywhere in the house so I am very very happy. It’s lightweight and portable so you can carry it around with batteries in it. It’s just a nice radio. It’s exactly what I was looking for perfect for the price easy to get the channels that I want and I’ve no complaints. I’m thinking of buying another one.

I bought this in case of a power outage. It takes batteries AND also comes with an adapter! It was smaller than I expected. I am providing the AM function of the radio in a video so you can hear the sound quality. The FM works great too, but the review will only allow ONE video. It is great for an actual old school radio! It is very easy to use! The only challenge I had, was trying to tune in an FM station that I listen to every day. I tried different locations in my home, but the signal was not strong enough and the station was crackly.

So far, I like it. Can run it off both 115VAC, or four AA Batteries. Simple, the sound is good, AM/FM tuning is good. The size is very convenient; small enough to be portable, yet, with the feel of a radio that can be used daily. I'll be back in a few months, if I find a significant drawback. Cheers!

I wanted this item to be shipped in an Amazon box but it was not. Only in the box telling what was it was, like a box you would pick up off the shelf of a store. My Husband was pleased with the gift. Sound is good, easy for him to see. So far it's great. Light weight and color is good. Is as advertised.

I have purchased two of these Panasonic radios and am totally pleased with them all the way around. I purchased the first one to keep in my 1940 Ford which has no radio and the second I purchased for camping and listening in my woodshop. Powered by 4 AA batteries and has pull-out antenna. I like the sound and the reception and the battery longevity seems to be good. Definitely recommend anything in the Panasonic line.
