Cats love it
My cats love this product so much! I thought they were going to attack me over it yesterday. I love that it’s freeze dried and the ingredients are straight forward. I also love that there is not an age restriction so it’s safe for every cat. I feel less guilty if they overindulge a little on these also. Super high quality. The size is a good size, especially if you want to break it in half. These easily fall apart. The smell is very enticing.

It's a hit!
Honestly I was a bit skeptical if my girl would like this option. I already was serving the turkey and duck kibble from Nulo which she wasn't too big a fan of. The ingredient list for this freeze dried option is a lot shorter than the kibble, most importantly has less carbs and has some level of flavor enhancers via the salmon oil. Salmon by it's self is a hit or miss with my girl however she is still a fan of the fish. She took to these nibs immediately. I don't serve these nibs outright as I use them as a kibble topper. At best she gets maybe 4-5 of these per serving of kibble which she always consumes first before any kibble. I can't speak for flavor as I'm not the one eating these but I can reasonably assume this is like cat crack of sorts given that she tends to come running when she sees me put a few out. Cost wise this is not an item to feed alone. It's expensive like other freeze dried options thus, rarely is it served alone. I did try rehydrating this much to my dismay. It did moisten and cook but my girl decided dry was the best for her over it being rehydrated. I'm not sure if this option has done anything super productive for the health of my cat given that she's mostly eaten wet foods with limited gums or none along with kibble topped with freeze dried foods. I can say that the way I feed my cat doesn't lead to excessive bowels, frequent trips to the litter box nor is her bowels super smelly. Reading the ingredient list is the most important thing to do as a pet parent to make sure they are getting the best nutrition they can get for your budget. Overall since this is a cheaper option for me to buy I'll continue to rotate this out with rabbit nibs from Vital Essentials.

Great Ingredients, Cat and Vet approved.
Great list of ingredients, vet also approved. My cat loves it! He has a sensitive stomach and we just learned he has diabetes. He hasn't has an upset stomach and being able to rehydrate this food really helps his water intake.

If your cat stops eating when you buy a new bag be aware - expires faster than expiration date
This is the only food my cat will eat. She is extremely picky and has a chicken allergy. It has great clean ingredients. That being said... I did see a few reviews talking about this issue but I wanted to put this here to get more traction/visibility - that when you buy a new bag, suddenly your cat won't touch it. Since my cat sometimes has a sporadic appetite this led to situations where I didn't catch it for a bit and she was very hungry. To my knowledge the issue is caused by the food expiring quicker than it should. I used to not understand what was going on. Then I smelled the food and noticed there was a rancid smell. Cats know! Consistently when I have had this problem with a bag that I just bought, I would check the manufacturing date. If the date was a year out she won't eat it, despite the date saying it's good for 2 years. I don't know if this is due to issues during transit or storage or that the company is not using enough natural preservative in the product. Thankfully, Nulo is a very responsible company and will always replace the bags though. I encourage anyone who has this problem to report it, so this problem hopefully is fixed for good. I have stopped buying this online and buy it at the store where it is cheaper and I can confirm the manufacturing date due to this issue.

So much improvement!
This is my second bag of this, the first bag was the smaller size. Overall, Spinach’s (~8 yrs) health has improved a lot since I started using this as a meal topper. She has a lot less dandruff, her coat is softer and shinier, and she has way less eye boogers. Although the price is kind of high, as a meal topper it’s really not bad because she doesn’t go through it super quickly and I feel the health benefits of adding this to her diet outweigh the cost. Plus, it’s a good alternative to actually going raw. I feed her around 7-10 pieces per day. I just tossed one of the scoops into the bag from a thing of protein powder that was empty. The Velcro-like seal for resealing the bag is convenient. As for what I typically feed her, I’ve been feeding her the Nulo Medal Series Cat and Kitten Turkey recipe kibble. When I first found her she had some food allergy (I still haven’t figured out what it was) which caused her to have a skin reaction but she didn’t have any issue with the Nulo kibble and she’s been on that since. So, that’s why I tried the freeze dried raw from Nulo because I was worried that switching brands might cause a skin issue, but she hasn’t had any skin reaction to it. The lack of skin reaction combined with the fact that her overall health has improved and that she seems to quite like the taste, I give this stuff 5 stars!

Delivering process causes the entire bag to be dust/crumbs. Purchase at stores.
Just started a subscription a few months ago that will be cancelled due to the crumbs/dust that the product is, by the time it gets delivered. Every bag is like this. Local stores do not sell it so I purchased online. It is unfortunate because my cats enjoy the food but won’t eat it if it’s dust. Too expensive for the small quantity, and for it to be all crumb/dust.

One cat loves, the other doesn't
I began looking into improving the quality of my two cats' health through diet with a freeze-dried food containing quality ingredients, and I tried this one (Turkey and Duck) since the cats are not allowed to have any fish or seafood due to urinary issues. I used the freeze-dried pellets three ways: (1) whole pellets, either dried or soaked in warm water, (2) dry crumbled with my fingers and mixed in with regular dry food, and (3) dry crumbled and then rehydrated to form a paste like pate wet food. With all 3 ways, I had one cat that loved the food, and the second cat (the picky one with the most urinary issues) who didn't like it. The cat that loved the food REALLY loved it - I stored it on the kitchen counter, and the cat would hop up there in the middle of the night and chew through the bag. Multiple times. I moved it, put it inside another plastic bag, but he chewed through everything to get to these "treats." Yes he is a pig, but it shows how some cats will go crazy for this. The other cat though wouldn't eat it any way. I even tried mixing it with her regular wet food but she wasn't very interested. So there you go. Yes, I think this is a quality product, and yes, I think I will buy again. But cats are picky and not all cats will eat this food and gain the benefit from it.

Highly nutritious - my cats gave it 5 paws!
My cats really enjoy the Turkey & Duck flavor and will eat this even before before their wet food. One of my cats has digestive issues but has never regurgitated this, unlike kibble. Both my cats’ coats are shinier and thicker. One caveat. Sellers advise rehydrating it with warm water or goat’s milk, which would provide cats with increased hydration. My cats will only eat it dry, but at least the dry helps keep their teeth cleaner. As every picky cat owner, your mileage may very re adding water or milk.

Good quality, but my cats didn't like it.
Strong smell and my cats got tired of it after one day. Very good and healthy ingredients tho! Maybe buy a small bag to make sure your kitty likes it first.

ridiculous price for amount of product and non refundable
Buyer beware!!!! Although the product quality is great; the cost of this product on line here is absolutely ridiculous. Considering other places sell it for 10.00 a bag and it 35.00 a bag here. Not to mention that this product is non refundable.
