Landerm Transparent Film Tattoo Aftercare 6 in x 11 Yd Roll

This stuff is awesome! This is my new go to tattoo aftercare. I don't think I will ever use anything else. I love the "set it and forget it" method. There was no worrying about cleaning that tattoo several times a day, no lotion applications, no worry about clothes rubbing up against it. With Landerm my tattoo also healed much quicker and had minimal peeling. Here's a detailed discription of my experiance with Landerm.After reading a few reviews about how Landerm used to be great but then changed their formula I contacted the company to see which version I would get if I ordered now. They got back to me within hours and informed me that they were now using a new (third) formula that was very similar to the first one that everyone loved so much. So I went ahead and ordered a roll to give it a shot.I am allergic to most adhesives (I can't even wear Band-Aids) so I tried a sample strip for two days just to make sure I didn't have any reactions. After two days, no rash, no issues what so ever so I felt safe to put it on my next tattoo. My husband and I both got tattooed in Vegas on a Friday and after using Landerm for 5 days, our tattoos we healed!I can't say enough how awesome this product is! We put it on and didn't really have to do anything to the tattoos. We ended up changing the Landerm two times. Once was as instructed after the first 24 hours, then we went to a show where they soak you in "blood" (basically just warm cool aid) which stained the Landerm but the Landerm kept the tattoos dry through the whole thing. Because it was stained we changed it. That last application lasted until we took it off on Tuesday.Neither of us had issues with any kind of "film" being left behind after removal as others reported however, we did find that it stripped when we took it off while it was wet. I would recommend taking it off before you take a shower, not after/during. I did get a slight rash just around the edge of where the Landerm was applied after about 3 days. The rash did not spread and stayed just around the edges so it did not come close to the tattoo. I would recommend this to anyone looking for hassle free aftercare.

Complete heal in 5-6 days! I am well on my way to a full suit and I have never used anything that leads to such a complete heal in such a short amount of time. It allows your skin to breath and it's waterproof, so you put the dressing on and leave it for a couple days. Wash the tattoo thoroughly with mild soap and water. Pat dry. Reapply. take the dressing off 3 or 4 days later and your tattoo is healed. Really, genuinely miraculous!WARNING: Look out for the new formula! I developed an allergic reaction that led me eventually to the emergency room. The tattoo is healing OK now, but the old formula never gave me problems before. The new formula's adhesive works differently. It keeps the dressing less firmly attached; the dressing comes off easily in water (undermining its whole purpose); and then the adhesive stays stuck to the skin, requiring fairly rigorous washing with soap and a washcloth. You really don't want to have to do that to a 2 day old tattoo.YIKES!Customer service has been great. The moment I told them about the reaction, they volunteered to send me old formula Landerm once they have some back in stock and refund the difference. That has yet to happen, unfortunately, but I am quite certain they will stand by their promises.

I am a professional tattoo artist and I came across this stuff online and requested samples. It works wonders for healing tattoos If proper application is followed. Some review on here says this is not correct manufacturer but IT IS! I called from the website and was directed here to order. Product is great and I got it in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this product!

I have used Landerm before. I'm not sure if the creator moved to more cheaper products but I could tell this was different than prior Landerm I have used as the stickers that you peel off of the product were designed slightly different. When applying the landerm it was different than before also as it seemed the edges didn't want to stick leaving an excess amount hanging from the skin. Now after trying to remove the landerm from my tattoo (keep in mind I took the exact same steps as in past experiences) it has left behind a thin film of gunk over my unhealed tattoo that I cannot remove without scrubbing. The film is similar to when you peel a sticker off something and you need to use goo gone to get rid of the gunk left behind. I can only hope this does not ruin my new tattoo. The worst thing is the landerm I have used in my prior experience was almost magical in how well it healed my tattoos and I had thought I'd found a permanent solution, unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.

Made healing much faster. Every part of the tattoo was less itchy and mostly healed after 8 days. Would recommend to anyone getting a tattoo done.

BEST stuff EVER for covering fresh tattoos! Don't need anything else, not even lotion, all the healing happens "by magic" under there! Right now I am using it on a tattoo removal (laser removal) and it is working well for that too.

I am a professional tattoo artist who has been using Tatu-derm for the past 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about it. I saw Landerm and decided to give it a try since for only 10 more dollars I got twice as much product. BAD IDEA !!! It was impossible to remove the backing since it was cut in the middle to aid in removing the backing was all the way through the bandage. When I was able to remove the backing the bandage would barely stay on even after wiping the skin down with alcohol first. The adhesive stay on though. That was gross and probably hazardous. I've tried leaving this review before but it didn't show. Hopefully this one will. I don't want it replaced with a so called new kind/old kind/whatever I just want my money back. This bad review will stay up until I do.

I was quite skeptical but tried it on a recommendation from a friend cause I have bad scanning problems on healing my legs and it worked amazingly! Quick heal time and no scabbing!
