It was not as easy to install as I had hoped because the replacement pieces had to be inserted in a particular way (they're round, but have protrusions that must be placed in slots in the outer covering), but I managed to get it done and the result is a like-new razor.

Nice close shave.

I bought these to replace appanrely worn heads on my razor. When I disassembled, i notice there was a lot of hair wrapped around the small spindle that sticks up on the underside of the cutter cover. This spindle is supposed to keep the cutter on-centre. With the amount of hair build up it seemd like the hair was pushing the cutter away from the head. Instead of putting the new heads in, I removed all the hair and tried the old, appanrely worn, cutters - they worked again! So before you replace, check the whole cutter assembly and clean it all out of wiskers and hair and make sure there is nothing between the head and the cutter.

With those new blades, shaving is still comfortable and pretty close to perfect. There is one thing that made me wonder if they were made for a series 1000 as it is mentioned. When I use them at a particular angle like shaving the chin it rattles, there is a strange noisy sound coming from the blades. I did not have this problem with the original ones coming with the razor.But the final result is satisfying for the price.

Though promptly delivered and easy to install, these blades snag and pull at the whiskers. I’ve ordered this product before from Amazon and had no issues.Assuming the manufacturer’s quality control is going down as the years go by.Will order again in hopes of better performance.

Not sure why, but these blades are not as good as the ones the came with my razor.One blade seems to pull and overall the blades do not give as close of a shave as the original ones.

I have been using a Philips 3000 for about a year. The blades weren't great at the get go but I like the hold of it and it goes on my face quite smoothly so I kept using it.Blades were out so I bought these new blades. I was surprised that they were just slightly better than the old ones.
