The quality feels great, like heavy duty and solid! The keys work good and the rope thingy whatever its called, is thick and it looks like some sort of metal in the middle! Overall great product for the price and fits/wraps around our 2 adult bikes easily! We didn't use the attachment piece but that also feels pretty solid too. It's a nice kit with different options. Easy to use. Looks just like photo (we got the black). I feel confident with the security, unless someone has huge shears, they arent getting this thing off haha!

I’ve used this lock for about a month. I have a mountain bike with a smaller frame. Other people have mentioned having a bike with a larger frame makes it more difficult to lock. I understand that. Personally, I had no trouble locking my bike to a bike stand. Locking it to a railing requires more thought, but not impossible. Locking it to a pole with a cement base, you’ll probably need the cable with the U-lock. I like how the U-lock mounts to the bike. It made storing the lock and locking up my bike a breeze. The bracket mount was easy enough to install, and it fit my mountain bike. There is a plastic layer you can put between the mount and bike frame so it won’t scratch. I installed an aftermarket seat a few weeks after putting on the mount on, and I had to take off the mount first as it was in the way. I wish that the two screws for the mount were shorter. Other people have mentioned this. Shorter ones would’ve been sufficient, but the ones that came with the kit don’t impact personal safety, at least for me. You’ll understand if you buy this. So far, I’ve only used the cable once because the U-lock fits my need but all the parts appears to be well-made. The U-lock is covered with a silicone coating so it protects the paint. I am not using this lock for long-term storage in a public area. I store it in my garage. I use the bike lock when I’m doing short grocery runs or eating inside a restaurant. I’m not away from the bike when I’m using it for hours or days. If you have a really expensive bike or want a lock with more security features, compare this with other brands. This one works for me. All in all, I am satisfied with the purchase and would purchase this again, either for myself or others. But check the measurements of your bike and this lock before buying. I've been using this U-lock every time I take my e-bike shopping or leave it unattended, and it's become a regular part of my routine. No lock is going to stop a determined thief forever, and I don't think it's realistic to expect that. What a good lock does is make your bike a more difficult target, and this one does exactly that. Used by itself, or even better combined with another lock, it adds enough security that most thieves are likely to move on to an easier opportunity. The lock mechanism works smoothly, the key operates positively, and it always locks securely. I also appreciate that it comes with two keys, which lets me keep a spare on a separate key ring in case I ever lose one. The included frame mount worked well with my original seat post. After I upgraded to a suspension seat post, there simply wasn't enough room to keep using the mount, so I now carry the lock in one of my pannier bags instead. That's due to the changes I made to my bike, not a problem with the lock itself. Overall, this is a solid, well-built lock that gives me confidence when I leave my bike outside for a while. I'd definitely buy it again.

Great lock. The thick, strong, rippling, sturdy cable is awkwardly long, which has its advantages, but the mount is either too tight or not tight enough for anyplace i want to install it. This is the price one must pay for affordable security. Installation is simple if you can find a spot for it. Bit of a learning curve to use it quickly without looking like a doofus and dropping it in half, but hey, decent buy.

Definitely got my moneys worth with the U-lock alone. Had it for years and never had an issue, until I lost my keys and had to get engineers to cut the U-lock off. 😭 Even they struggled with it with power tools. Had to use a diamond blade AND bolt cutters to get it off. My only complaints are I wish the wire was longer and I couldve gotten a replacement key instead of needing to cut it. 🤷‍♀️

A very useful accessory. I have put it on the front fork [absorber] of my bicycle. The wire loop is very handy. The length is adequate. Pros 1. Strong and sturdy. 2. Easy to install. 3. Length of the wire loop is adequate. 4. Velcro straps[2] on the wire loop help to keep it tidy. Points for improvement 1. The U bolt could have been hinged to one side. 2. It takes sometime to put this lock on. So if you are in hurry, this is not for you. Overall a good product.
