Works as advertised, passes 4K HDR to TV and 1080P to AVR for audio with no drama.
I have an old Onkyo 606, it barely supports 1080p, let alone HDR or 4K, this allows me to split 4K HDR output to the TV and then feed 1080p to my Onkyo to pull the audio, it works really well. CEC doesn’t work whe hang this though, but apparently connecting one of the pins from input port to output port will resolve that if you are feeling brave. I have read of issues updating the firmware on this, but as everything works in my set-up, I am quite happy to leave well alone.

Does what it says!
My situation was, I had zone B enabled on my avr for a different room. But doing this affected what my ps5 could output. This was annoying tbh. But problem solved. Connected hdmi from ps5 to this thing, had to adjust some settings and downscaled the output to audio source...which is no issue as I only wanted the atmos sound...i was able to send the other hdmi out to the TV and get my 4k hdr 60hz. it works a treat. Superb sound and now I got my 4k hdr. Fortunately my tv only goes to 60hz. The item will only output 60 hz anyway I think. But the only down side to this device is that it doesn't do the 120hz. Of course it makes it very clear that it is only 60hz. But no issue for me personally. But very pleased and highly recommend this product. It solved an annoying problem for me. I can't recommend this enough. Feels great quality item for the money too. So pleased I got it.

Good Device but Not Impressed with Support
Installed this on a Sky Q box to split signal between main UHD tv and non-UHD tvs in other rooms. Works great for a while (hence 4 stars) then sound goes all distorted and picture goes and I start to get hangups in apps like Netflix and Prime. Emailed for support and got very brief reply about resetting. Still having problems so have emailed several times again but have been totally ignored. Apparently from other reviews a later version of the box will cope with Sky Q and I would like to know how I get one. How do I get them to respond to me?

When it works, it works well.
Front switch set to 'COPY1': Outputs 4K 60Hz no problem from a PS4 Pro (RGB and yuv420), along with the downscale toggle switch on the back for 1080p to a second output. No noticeable downgrade in picture quality on the 1080p display and no noticeable input lag. The problem comes when changing the PS4 resolution in this mode (see picture). If set to anything other than 4K, the picture is a mess (for lack of a better word) and the resolution isn't 1080p. Deep colour output is the problem here. If set to automatic on the PS4 Pro, it will carry over as 'on' when switching to 1080p. Turning it 'off' will fix the problem. Not ideal. Setting the front switch to '4K' will force 5.1 audio (at least on my setup) and make Netflix and the like useless using a display with stereo speakers. Sounds effects and background noise can be heard, but no dialogue. The '2K' front switch works well and limits the input and outputs to 1080p. In this mode, 'deep colour' isn't an option on the PS4 Pro so the picture is never a mess. I've also had audio cutting out for two seconds, back on for two seconds, cutting out again. Only resolved by unplugging and plugging it back in. Had the display going off and coming back on a couple of times in a few days for no reason. As an 'advanced' user I've updated the firmware and it made no difference. Last but not least. All cables are short (2 metres maximum length) and fully HDMI 2.0 certified. Connected directly to the 4K display I've had no problems at all with audio or video.

Perfect for splitting your singal between two sources
As a Podcast/Vodcast host I purchased this product to capture game footage output from my consoles. I use a complicated mixture of a 5-1 HDMI Hub to and amp receiver and then outputting to a TV and a capture card. This deviceworks great and splits the signal quite easily. The main issue is ensuring you have the correct switches in place. The device will carry Dolby Vision and Atmos at 4K but to get this you have to have the correct switch settings on the device. It will also downscale to 1080P depending on the switches so if you are experiencing a 1080P signal check the switches on the device. My main issue is that the device doesn't remove the HDCP protection from signals (for understandable reasons) which results in the need to have to turn off HDCP on your PlayStation consoles to record game output, but appart from some limited apps this doesn't make a difference to the console or games, but none of that is the fault of this device. Note that the device will happily pass through the HDCP signal to you TV or connected devices, so is fully compatible and does what it should. Very simple in what it does without may bells and whistles that are not needed anyway.

Great Product - Fit for Purpose
I was directed from AVForums to this item to fix an issue with my Freesat box blanking on and off every 30s or so when connected to a Sony Bravia TV via a Denon AVR. I kept having to reboot the Freesat box. This worked straight out of the box and provided a stable signal. I was able to take 5V power feed from a USB port on my TV.

Did last long. 4 months and died
After four months, it’s stopped working. I expect more when you buy something you think will last / pay premium for. Seems to have lost a colour channel and gone all pick. Works fine when plugged direct (without splitter)

Solid build quality, did the job I had intended
Solid product from what I can tell. I got it to stabilize a troublesome HDMI chain in a complex A/V setup involving room projectors etc. It helped and the unit is has many options so I'm sure it will come in useful in the future. Solid build quality but the dip switches are a bit flimsy. But they are not exposed so as long as one is careful, they should hold up fine.

Hassle free and works with fiber optic hdmi cable
Tried lots of hdmi bi-directional and matrix switches but this eezco splitter is the only one that works without a hitch. Got a 1080p tv and a 4k projector hooked up via an avr that has a hdmi 1.4 and a hdmi 2.0 video out. Connecting the tv to the hdmi 1.4 out and the projector to the 2.0 port would be easy enough but that confuses the apple tv into constantly switching resolutions. My blu-ray player can switch resolution depending on the output device but it always outputs a 4k signal as both outputs on the avr are always active so i can’t watch blu-ray on my tv. (Whish NAD would add a setting to disable out 1 or 2) Besides this the tv is connected via a 10m long fiber optic hdmi cable and the projector uses a 20m fiber optic cable. A hdmi switch that only draws power from the hdmi input can’t drive these cables causing interference and drop outs in the video. The eezco uses usb power (adapter not included) resulting in rock steady video. This splitter has none of these issues. It scales 4k input to 1080p on the tv and no buttons to press on the splitter when switching between projector and tv (even simultaneous output works). I’ve uploaded custom firmware which enables player led dolby vision (tv and projector don’t support dolby vision) so the atv and blu-ray player do the tone mapping of dolby vision content to sdr or hdr output. This usually makes the image darker so i don’t use it that often. The only thing lacking is arc and cec support for the 1080p output. The tv does not turn on or go into standby with the atv remote control like the avr does. Watching regular tv does not send audio via arc to the receiver so you have to resort to the spdif output of the tv.
