I like to travel light but to have all the gear I need for a happy few hours fishing and this bag tips all my boxes. It is well made and takes my rods, bank sticks, and rod rests. I have added 4 cut down plastic rod holders and used an old bait box to make a firm base( I carry the rods inside the bag and attach the other items to the out side the velcro at the top and holder at the bottom with a central strap holds them firm. The side pocket is deep and takes the fishing reels with room for my rod rest. The rods broken down, around 5ft, do protrude, but the adjustable tie at the top of the bag holds them in place. There is also a strong central zip (around 3ft) so the bag can be opened for smaller items placed inside. So if I can get off my fishing chair I could do roaming along the bank for the best spots. It's nice to dream

I have only used this bag three times and today the carry strap ripped away from the bag, it wasn't even holding much weight. Poor quality.

Bottoms could be padded but other than that decent all round
