Tiny pieces - need extreme patience and good eyesight.
This productās bricks are TINY, as are the instruction pictures. The combination makes it incredibly tricky to build and not really suitable for a child alone. It makes you appreciate Lego - the instructions are complex, and you have hold bricks in thin air before attaching the next layer at times. They really are tricky to follow. Lots of taking it apart and starting the section again. Luckily the tool provided is effective to help do this. That said, once you are up and running things get a bit easier! We also found several mistakes in the instructions, (numbers of bricks required etc) and didnāt have the right number at the end for the final builds, but were able to steal other pieces to make it sort of work. Also one of the bigger pieces isnāt moulded correctly so wonāt join at all. And there wasnāt a spare.But... we do have a lovely golden retriever model at the end of it, and as my son is a dog lover we are happy (but exhausted and eyes aching). We would buy it again I think when we have recharged our energy levels and patience if they do a chocolate Labrador... Hint hint.

Very small pieces - lots of patience needed & timeš
I've nearly finished building the cat, haven't included the photos yet as I want to submit the finished product. It's a lovely idea and looking at the finished product on the listing it's true to the nearly complete model. The reason I purchased this was because the cat looks like one of my own cats, 'Putty'. She actually stud by the box when it arrives and I had to take a picture, she didn't look impressed and I'm she will be even more unimpressed when she sees the finished product!!! My other cat 'Fudge' was very keen and happy to pose by the box but I think even she knew she had the wrong fur!I had initial impressions that this would be similar to Lego and could get my ten year old son involved as he's a dedicated Lego Minecraft builder. Well, forget it, if you're thinking of buying this for a child it isn't a good idea. When I opened the box and was faced with over 4000 tiny pieces my son just said 'forget that', and walked offš.So this is down to me to build, over time, I've already spent hours and just seems to take forever to build up. The instructions don't make building this easy at all, I wished they would've spent some time in providing a more detailed, clear set of instructions, just like Lego do.The cat is built up in layers, layer after layer, with the odd mistake made here and there, that's why I only spend a small amount of time on this, it can be very frustrating, getting there though. As soon as it's finished I will submit the photos, I will try and get my cat to sit next to it.Recommended.

Worth building but challenging.
Been a very difficult/challenging build but it has totally kept me busy over the past week. Each one has been difficult to build but the end result is totally worth it. You've really got to think hard when doing these as multiple times i was shocked at how many mistakes I made while building but it made me keep going and now I have ordered myself some more as I've enjoyed building them up!

Instructions are hard to decipher / pieces are so small
This is a hellish thing to assemble. We gave up despite our love of Dachshunds. The pieces are absolutely tiny - but that wouldn't be a problem if the instructions were clear. But it's not obvious how each stage relates to the next - unlike the brilliant Lego guides this jumps several pieces at a time, so you have to decipher what pieces they've used.If only Lego would produce something like this...

Terrible design gave up
This is the most difficult and terribly designed kit I have ever come across. The pieces are tiny which would usually be ok but they dont clip side by side everything needs to be layered on top so you create the shape on any uard surface then you need to keep it perfectly in place as you then try and lay the next layer on top which you need to do brick by brick as they don't clip together. As soon as you place one brick on top all of the others move out of place.I love a challenge and have complete many tricky sets from other brands by this one I gave up on

Border collie brick set
Luv this little set great fun not for children as pieces are very small best for adults but great fun to do a challenge

End result good but instructions 'challenging'
The end result is good, but be aware...Instructions require careful scrutiny and are not always clear (blue lines around blocks to indicate their boundaries);Good eysight required;Strong nimble fingures needed to ensure all blocks are fully seated before moving onBlock quality not Lego, but OK;A few double blocks were missing, required some minor re-design towards end;As others have said... once the first few layers have been completed it gets a lot easier.

Tricky and tough, but satisfying!
I bought this as a valentines gift for my nine-year-old son. To be fair, it says 14+ on the instructions and, in fact, it is one of the trickiest puzzles or builds Iāve ever done. Yes I said I, as after everyone else in the family had given up, I completed it myself! The āinstructionsā are quite tricky to get a grip on, and the very first one is possibly the hardest bit of the whole build, but once you understand how they work, itās fairly straightforward. I thoroughly enjoyed building this and will be looking for another to do!
