It really works! My toddler is 2 years old and he uses pacifier all the time. When we changed to step 4, he just handed out the pacifier to us after using it for several minutes. She came to me in the middle of the night upset that she couldn't hold binky in her mouth anymore. I told her that binky was finally all grown up, and we should celebrate. The next day we had cookies in celebration. She still asked for binky for a couple of days, and we allowed her to carry number 5 around to reassure her that binky was all grown up. Eventually (within two days), she stopped asking for it and I discreetly put it away for good. She did not ask about binky again until a week later. I reminded her that binky was all grown up and off to bigger and more exciting things in life. That answer seemed to please her and she has been good for a month now. I never thought we would get her weaned off, but honestly these worked magic, especially with our fun little story to them. I will forever recommend these to anybody.

Took one year only 5 days to say what the heck, I am over it! He is not liking how his paci feels so diff every 2 days. We did #1 for 2 days unlimited, skipped #2 and went straight to 3 unlimited. He is now on day 5 with #4 and reaches for it when upset but it does nothing for him in the shortened state. He will grab a toy instead or come to us for a hug. #4 is only for daytime use and then it is #5 which is basically nothing he can hold on to.

Wow, just wow.
