This is good but not as moisturizing as Shiseido’s other eye creams in little pod. The part I don’t like is the package! You couldn’t tell when you’ll run out and how soon you need to get a new one. I had the same problem with a Chanel tinted moisturizer. I’ll never buy a skin care or makeup product that I couldn’t tell how much there is left. I broke both packages and there were still plenty inside. Much better with a see-through package that you can plan on next purchases.

Shocked it was so inexpensive. Ordered a second one immediately.

I'm 72 years young and I have BEAUTIFUL skin if I may say so. BUT, my 7nder eye area has plagued me for a couple of years now. No deep lines or wrinkles but DRY to the point of causing my concealer to look flakes. Didn't matter what concealer I used. Didn't matter what under eye moisturizer I used. Then I found this product thanks to a Sephora representative. I'm now on my 3rd bottle and there is NO MORE flaking and my concealer goes on smoothly. Many thanks Shiseido and the knowledgeable Sephora rep. Now, I get it through Amazon but I probably would not have tried it on my own.

I enjoy this product. I can't give it five stars because it has NO effect on minimizing dark undereye circles as the product claims. Also, it's also REALLY EXPENSIVE. But, after a year of buying it for the first time, I find myself placing another bottle in my shopping cart, cursing myself for dropping so much money for a blasted eye cream. But I love it!First and foremost, this product is SO HYDRATING and it feels refreshing and cool - almost like a pick-me-up for days where my eyes feel like they've sunken into my head and shrunk to the size of raisins – Often in winter/dry weather or after looking at a computer screen all day while ghastly fluorescent office lights shine down upon me. It's a clear gel, so it goes on and absorbs VERY easily - No endless rubbing the product in or worrying about a greasy or white look.The product claims to "help enhance the benefits of anything you put on top of it, while also defending and strengthening skin to fight off visible dark circles, wrinkles, and dryness or roughness."Alas, aside from not having an effect on dark circles, as stated above, it also has no lasting or filling effects on wrinkles or fine lines; however, the sheer hydration this product provides makes the skin near my eyes look more plump and healthier than the sandpaper it once was.True to its claim, I do use this gel as a primer under a very thick (but effective) undereye concealer I use. This product helps the thick and dry concealer go on smoother and makes it easier to blend.As for the unwarranted expense, the good news is you only need a little bit of product to feel the beneficial effects, so my one bottle lasted a year. (I do NOT use it every day, however.)I wouldn't expect miraculous results from this product, and I wouldn't recommend for everyday use being that it's so expensive, but overall, I CAN recommend this product for the benefits detailed above.

The scent is pleasant but too strong for my sensitive eyes. Texture not bad either. I wanted to return it, but you can't return this product!So now I use it as neck cream and went back to my trusted Biologique recherche eye cream.

The scent of this is very light and citrusy and a nice sheer layer however when compared to cheaper options (Cetaphil or Aveeno), it doesn't make that much of a difference for me to justify buying another bottle. There also seems to be some leftover product at the bottom when I finished the bottle, but I was unable to open it so I don't think I am getting my money's worth.
