I purchased this July 31, 2023. For some reason, Amazon still wants a review. So, this RAM worked PERFECTLY in my system. I couldn't be happier. Nothing makes a person's day than additional RAM. So glorious to have my PC perform so quickly and smoothly. I still have that system, but it couldn't handle the current version of Windows so I bought a new system. But I keep the old system just because of its RAM and so happy the RAM made me.

The new memory works great! Copilot told me that going from 12 GB of memory to 16 GB would improve the speed by 20% to 40%. It wasn't wrong. It's at least 40% better than it was. I am much happier with my setup now, and I saved about $100, because I didn’t purchase 32GB. I told Copilot how I use my computer, and it suggested that spending twice the amount of money to get 32 GB would be overkill. My computer started thrashing, when I upgraded to Windows 11, which uses and idles around 7 GB of RAM, where as Windows 10 uses around only 3 or 4 GB. Upgrading to Windows 11 caused the system to thrash, create a bottleneck, because of Windows 11’s need for more RAM. My computer was using 8 GB in dual-channel mode and 4 GB in single, because I had only 12GB. Now, I have 16 GB in full dual-channel mode, and it's much faster even though there is only 4 GB more RAM. So, if your computer was doing great for your purposes, with only 12 GB of RAM, before you upgraded to Windows 11, you might be satisfied with 16GB. I have a Dell Inspiron 3880, and this RAM works great with it! Just check your RAM specs with your computer manufacturer. It works with other computers, too. I have a tremor in my wrist, and I managed to install the memory anyway. I should also mention that I typically keep two or three browsers open, using around 45 tabs; LibreOffice with a single word document; also Windows Media Player, Copilot; and Thunderbird Mail and that's about it. I don’t use my computer for gaming. Task Manager says that I am consuming on average between 75% to 90% of my RAM regularly, but it is fine at that load. Running in dual-channel mode is the difference. So, you might not need a new computer yet, if you just upgraded to Windows 11 and noticed that your computer slowed down a lot. To run in dual channel mode you need two memory modules with the same specs.

I never leave feedback (and they request it almost immediately after you receive the product, so you really aren't able to assess the long-term performance), BUT, on this one so far, the results have been awesome! Received it quickly, installed it easily and my 6 year old PC runs BETTER than it did when new. Speed and Reliability are outstanding. Huge performance improvement over what I was dealing with. Again, I have to qualify it with "So Far", but I'm very happy as of now.

Excellent product. I could not use my desktop computer due to a RAM problem. Purchased this, installed it and my computer works fine.

I swapped out the single 8GB stick on my desktop for these two A-Tech 16 GB sticks. The install was quick and I had no issues with the fit into the slots or recognition of the swap out. Booted right up and the difference in performance was obvious right away. I work with some larger Illustrator design files and noticed smoother multitasking and faster load times immediately. These sticks came in easy to open packaging and was exactly what I needed. Been running for a week with no hiccups. If you are looking for a solid upgrade and easy installation these A-Tech 16 GB RAM sticks will do it without breaking the bank.

Installation was easy and I doubled my computer memory. The computer came back on line with no issues and improved the performance dramatically. The only issue was the price but that isn't an Amazon issue, prices are up everywhere. Very pleased

This company never disappoints. Every time I buy a stick of ram from this company it works perfectly. I popped it in my computer and 5 minutes later Windows is running and it's running better because now I have a dual channel ram instead of single I highly recommend this

Not much to say about this -- it's RAM. Once installed it worked just fine and my PC has seen a performance boost from doubling the amount of RAM available, such as for video editing.
