This little guy is a serious peace of mind. I got it for my car after reading about the dangers of lithium-ion battery fires. It's compact and doesn't take up much space, but I feel much safer knowing it's there in case of an emergency. Plus, it's easy to use and the chrome finish looks pretty sharp too.

All i can really say is that it looks good and looks to be high quality. I bought this particular one because of its compact size and when discharged it wont ruin everything under my hood, mainly electrical components. Seeing as the reason for purchase is for quick response to an engine fire I cant speak on how good it works nor would i like to ever. Bottom line is every modified car should have one and this one came recommended.

If you've ever had a car fire or small fire in the house, and used a powder extinguisher, you know exactly what kind of residue it leaves. It adds to the mess that a fire causes and is a real PITA to clean up. The HG100B is just the right size, with enough gas to put out an aggressive engine fire without causing an incredibly difficult to clean up mess. It's size allows it to fit in one of the nice little storage spots in an SQ5. Great product!

Attractive in chrome and I like the idea of a clean agent but the reality is after a couple years it's going to lose pressure and need to be refilled but I can't find any company that refills them with that same product.

It's a very small chromed fire extinguisher.Needed a reliable unit for my 1/4 size Tin Lizzie.....this turned out to be the perfect size. The mounting bracket is solid and holds the unit securely.I have no complaints. If you are buying an extinguisher for automotive use, you do NOT want the normal A-B-C dry chemical unit, it will get fine sand-like particles all over your engine, and that isn't good.While Halon and like gasses are much more expensive than A-B-C dry chem, they leave no residue and are very efficient at removing the oxygen fuel that a gas fire needs to stay active.

Was looking for a non-dry basis extinguisher for my car and came across this offering for halon based. It is not only functional it looks good, important if it is being used in a car and visible, not stuck under a sink or some such application. Good price for the quality..have not tested it and hope I never have to but it had good consumer report reviews.

The product comes in a bag inside box and is very attractive. One you take off the plastic, the beauty is easily seen. In comparison with red units, this shiny chrome one is definitely a huge upgrade in aesthetics.One thing to note, the mount is difficult to attach without scratching it. The second car I used a thin towel to avoid scratches during installation.
