My cocker spaniel's barking has been a stress for the last 3 years. Creating problems with our neighbors, even with some of my friends and creating anxiety for us. The bark collar didn't work, but this ultrasonic training device worked! The first time pressing the button my dog ran off and went quiet. I now just have to show my dog the device and he stops barking or doing whatever it is I don’t want her to do. I rarely have to push the button. Great tool for training.

I always spend way too much time reading reviews and trying to make a selection Based on reviews, it appears it’s a crapshoot. In the category of dog barking aids, it seems like they’re either good or bad. I took a shot on this one based on what I read and as soon as I got it I was bummed because it didn’t even have a 9 V battery in it. That’s kind of a red flag, it might’ve said it in the description but still???I had to wait for the dog to actually bark at something and when he did I used it and it was totally ineffective. He’s 100 pound German Shepherd that’s all muscle, and I had great hopes that this would help him curve his barking but it was as the title says “worthless.“ He didn’t even flinch. I know The battery was good because the flashlight part of it comes on pretty well. But I could give a rat’s ass about the flashlight.I would not recommend this device nor most of the ones that I read the the reviews on.

We rescued a GSD and he barked incredibly loudly at anyone at the front door, and even when new people came in the house. There are 2 settings, I and II. I is for training and minor convincing, and II is like a panic button that you should not use for training. It's an ultrasonic noise that's annoying (but not dangerous for dogs) and gets their attention. I've had to use this thing maybe 4 times total since we got him (3 months ago). Any time he sees me pick up the remote now he sits or walks away. Great for letting dogs know that you're the one in charge and they need to look at you for their reactions. Again, don't use II on your own pets. It's for scaring off dogs that charge you or whatever (while on a walk, etc). And DO NOT corner your dog the first time you use this. They're gonna run, and don't make them run through you.

Has not worked on my 3 pound yappie Yorkie, but neither did a collar. She is headstrong and if she wants to bark nothing can stop her.The flashlight has more effect than the alert and is a nice, bright light. I plan on taking the Pet Sole with me on walks with the dogs and hopefully use it to ward off unwanted critters with either the alert, the light or just throw the entire device at them.

I bought vibrating collars a couple months before purchasing this, they didn’t work at all. This works great! Only had to use a few times, now I just have to say no and pick it up when they start to bark. We are all much happier, and so are our neighbors!

This did not work at all for our dogs! Disappointed I wasted the money. 😔

I can not sing the praises of this device enough.... We rescued a 4 year old part Great Pyranees and part Brittany Spaniel. She would go berserk when the door bell rang and bark insatiably at people who passed by our back yard. Our back yard backs up to a walking trail, so people go by all the time. We tried scolding and spraying water at our dog, but nothing worked - especially for the doorbell. I bought this device and our dog absolutely HATES it... The first time we tried it, I had someone ring my doorbell - when she started barking like crazy I said "NO BARK!!" and when she continued to bark, I pressed the button. She jumped back startled and stopped barking. I had someone ring the doorbell again, and again she started barking - I sternly said "NO BARK!!" again and when she continued barking, I pressed the button and again, she stopped and jumped back and looked at me startled. It only took around 5 tries with this until she realized that she needed to STOP when I said "NO BARK" or I was going to press the button. Now, if the doorbell rings, she'll start with a very small bark and when I say "No Bark" she stops immediately.. Same for barking at walkers and joggers along our back fence. Best $19.99 I've ever spent. Made us actually enjoy our well behaved rescue dog so much more... And it's NOT a shock collar, so their is no pain - she just hates the sound so much that she will do anything she can NOT to have me press the button.

Total junk, doesn't work, light switch has only two settings, on and on. There's no way to turn off the LED lights. Dogs still jump all over me in the elevator, even when I press the button. This seems like total fraud--a useless item boxed and packaged that claims to do something that it doesn't do. Based on the condition, it seems like other users agree as it looks like it's been returned a gazillion times. Unfortunately I was out of town when it arrived and missed the 30 day refund window. Don't waste your money.

Lo uso cuando ando en bicicleta. Inmediatamente los perros se detienen y dejan de ladrar. No funciona con perros muy pequeños tipo chihuahua. Muy eficaz en perros grandes.

This Pet Sole was purchased to attempt to discourage local dogs from rushing at me and barking furiously when walking to a nearby bus stop. Have used it effectively one time already to dogs within their fenced yard. Hopefully it will continue to be effective.

Tried this on the barking dog next door - no reaction at all, so tested it on a family dog and he ignored it too. Waste of money.
