TL;DR - 100% recommend! This is waterproof, even in the swimming pool & sets quickly (but can be smudged if you're quick). Best pencil liner (sharpenable) and stays in the water line!I'm a light-medium skin tone & brunette (natural black), which makes me high contrast and therefore only interested in the deepest black mascara and eyeliner. Both must be waterproof and easy to take off when I decide and this checks every box for me. At this price point, I'm able to keep several on hand so I'm never without it. (:I adore this liner and would easily buy it at triple the price, it's just that good. It's one of the darkest black liners I've come across and at a 6th of the price of others, this has earned its place in my makeup bag to say the least. I keep two "emergency liners" under my sink & once the one in my makeup bag gets small, I throw it in my purse just in case.On a casual day, if my eyebrows are clean (waxed/plucked) & I have this liner in my upper waterline, I feel put together enough to leave the house without any other makeup on. I have medium brown eyes and a black limbal ring but the contrast is much more noticeable when I wear this liner, so I'm fully addicted.On multiple occasions, I've been swimming (I'm talking fully submerged, diving, and rough play for hours) on a 100+ degree day and it's still hanging on by night. Unless I scrub at it with a towel (which hurts, so don't lol) or use a cleansing oil/ makeup remover, it's hanging on through almost anything.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for staying power and doesn't mind sharpening a pencil liner.

It's very hard to find kohl substitutes as kohl was removed from the market in our country. This is a great substitute for those with a medium and dark complexity who want the Smokey kohl look. On very pearly light skin color this is too dark and smudgy unless you are going for a goth look. It goes on smooth, lasts the day and it smudges well for the right look. Does it come in blue?

hi-intensity pigment, SOFT, long lasting to a large degree and definitely smudge proof, but can be smudged for Smokey look if needed.Caused some eye irritation (and slight lid swelling) from waterline application, so may not be suitable for really sensitive eyes.

I absolutely love this eyeliner. I've been using it for years. It goes on smooth, dark and intense, and it's reasonably priced as well. But, now it's getting harder to find in stores, which sucks. All the stores I used to buy it from are no longer carrying it. I'm lucky to even find Rimmel brand it the stores, let alone this specific eyeliner. I usually order it from Amazon now. Oh, and I read a review on here about it being hard to sharpen this eyeliner. I agree and used to have the same issue and could only use it a few times. But, if u try the Rimmel eyeliner sharpener for all types of eyeliners, it really works. It actually sharpens this one as well as other types of eyeliners. It'll say on the Rimmel package, for all types of eyeliners. This is my favorite eyeliner and hope they don't discontinue it.

I love this eye pencil, it goes on very nice. Very smooth. BUT it’s really a waste of money because you cannot sharpen it. You can only use it for a short period of time when you try to sharpen it. It falls apart. Manufacture and needs to figure this out.

I love this eyeliner. Color description is exactly as described it applies easily to the eyes and is soft and gel like. It doesn't cause my eyes to water and sharpening it is simple even with a normal pencil sharpener. It stays on for long periods of time. I've tried numerous eyeliner over the years this one really tops most

This is the best eyeliner I have ever used. I've tried the most expensive eyeliners, the best-rated, etc. Pencils, liquid, I've tried them all. They don't compare to Rimmel London.This goes on smoothly and stays in place. The price is phenomenal. I'm sold!
