Great book!
The Heartwood Hotel Better Together is a great and cute book. This is one of our favorite book series. They are engaging with just the right amount of adventure and warmth to hold the attention of all ages of readers. We have enjoyed reading them together as a family during our evening reading time. We are hoping for more Heartwood Hotel books!

I really enjoyed reading this to my children (ages 10, 9, 7, and 3). They were all engaged with the story. There is some conflict/jealousy in the story line but it was done in a way that my kids could relate to and that felt like a way of talking about/acknowledging/dealing with real emotions. Spoiler warning - there are some villainous owls, so I did have to be careful how I read those parts around my toddler so he doesn’t develop a fear of owls! Great book overall. Engaging plot, relatable characters, nice range of emotions. My kids have been asking when we’re getting book 4 - always a good sign!

My child was introduced to this series at at school. The books are easy to read and have an engaging story line. We were able to talk together about the books when we'd finish a chapter, where I would ask what do you think they'll discover next? I've enjoyed reading them together and imagining what the characters look like (there are some pictures) but we will often go and draw out and colour what we think the Heartwood or characters look like. I would recommend this series!
