Vitrex10296400V 3PC Tile Installation KIT

I needed some of these for a tiling job I was doing as my last had worn out and broken. They sell these in over places but found Amazon to be the cheapest. They were worth the buy and I don't know what I would have done without them. All in all, great product for diy tiling job.

Smaller than my original Vitrex set, but works just as well. good quality for the money, perfect size for getting into the awkward areas... A great addition to my extensive tool collection...

The set if a good price to get a small amount of tiling done and grouted. My sister said the blades applied the adhesive well enough and evenly and the grouter squeegee got the grout applied well.That is the pros and we would recommend the set, if tiling a small area. The reason for this the set were not comfortable to use, not ergonomic and place extra stress on the wrist than other tools.

I decided I would tile the Kitchen with a metro splashback, as decreed by the household financial controller.First go tiling and so I needed some tools, Vitrex is branded prominently in the large DIY chains, the reviews for this set were largely positive so I purchased a set.The Good -The three tools are comfortable in the hand, the rubber grips also provide a little cushioning which is really very useful.They are made out of very tough plastic, having now completed a few further jobs, rerouting and some more tiling at my folks they are still almost without a mark on them.They are easy to wash hence the near new appearance, a bit of warm soapy water, run under the tap, a little mess on your hands or brush and that's it. Since they are plastic you don't even need to worry about not drying them then spending ages cleaning rust of them the next time you have to dig them out.Functionally they are brilliant, three different styles though I have used mainly the small notch and flat profile. They are just stiff enough to really give grout and adhesive a good push onto the desired surface but still have a tiny bit of bend to allow variable pressure with your hands.They are bright orange. This has been useful when rummaging around under broken tiles, in half empty buckets of grout etc to try and remember where you left one. I honestly have wasted many hours I would think looking for tools that are non descript shades of black and grey because I can't see them amongst the inevitable mess I make.Could be better -A 3 pack at this price is really very hard to find issue with, they look good, feel great in the hand and do the job.Five Stars.

One-of use. Strictly for an occasional DIY use as anything above that will fast prove this kit to be not up to the job.
