It works really well. I use it just to open eggs cleanly, instead of tapping them on a counter or the side of a bowl. It's great to not have to fish a piece of shell out of the pan or bowl.

Works great for raw eggs, but for boiled eggs not so much. I went back to putting hard-boiled eggs in cold water and then peeling them by hand after they had cooled.

I separate eggs by hand. My family thinks that is disgusting. So I purchased this. They love it. I think it's silly. They recommend it, I shake my head. But I have a happy family.

I am not loving the quality. I find the wires that cut are spongy and dull.

No complaints with the function or results whatsoever. Wholly regretful I ran it through the Dishwasher. Ruined the finish. The high temp water broke down the finish 1st run to where everything it comes into contact with leaves dark aluminum traces from the finish just being compromised. Wrote my name with it on a cardboard box after seeing how much transfer was coming off as I tried to wipe the residue clean with a paper towel. It's first use was amazing though! Absolutely better than wire slicers hands down, however the damage I did to it has left quite the sour taste in my mind towards the cleanup side of things. So much so that I'm not willing to gamble on a replacement. I'll settle for the dishwasher safe wire cutters going forward. So disappointing.

It is well made but if the eggs are fresh, the white just sits there and nothing happens. I ended up buying the plastic Oxo one which I didn’t want to do, but it has more slots and the white runs through smoothly.

Works better than the plastic ox brand which I gave away after using this one. The spoon area is better designed and it hasn’t broken the yolk even once after using it so often. At times, the egg white needs to be pulled down when it pours out through the slots. No breakage ever! Highly recommend. For an image- picture yourself eating the runny yolk of a sunny side up once you break it on the plate-yum!

Bought for mushrooms and replaced my egg slicer which wasn’t strong enough for mushrooms. So much easier than slicing with a knife - squeeze once vs 5-6 Slices and the slices are uniform. If your mushrooms aren’t super fresh (aka rubbery) it doesn’t slice as well. Anything that makes meal prep easier is a an easy sell for me (I frequently make spinach and mushroom omelettes)

Good egg yolk separator, one of the best I have used.. A good purchase..

Before this thingamabob entered my life I would have exploding eggs all over my fingers and counter top, but just 3-4 taps on this egginator and POOF, off with it's head! The raw egg top is perfectly cut off and I just dump the yolk right into the pan with no mess. I read some reviews saying it doesn't work with large eggs, but mine were JUMBO and the biggest in the store with no issues...the top opening was just enough room for the yolk to pass through. All good!
