🌍 Storm the Beaches, Forge Your Legacy!
D-Day Dice is a cooperative board game where players strategize to storm the Normandy beaches during WWII. Utilizing custom RWB dice, players must gather resources, manage their unit effectively, and work together to overcome increasingly difficult defenses. Failure is not an option, as the fate of the mission rests on the collective effort of the team.

D-Day Dice: Yahtzee on Steroids
Ok...so don’t let the title scare you off if you hate Yahtzee...this game is a blast and carries PLENTY of WWII THEME!! Yes, the premise is rolling dice...heck...its in the title of the game. Designer Emmanuel Aquin has done a wonderful job putting together scenarios and context to make this a challenging and enjoyable WWII game, even if it is just rolling dice. The base game comes with 4 nations (United States, Great Britain, Free France, and Canada) that you will try to lead to victory by defeating a bunker defending the landing zone. You have the option to play on several double sided boards, each offering its own challenges. Your platoon of brave soldiers will need to maneuver up the beach through various zones...each offering its own challenge, and eventually into the bunker where you must survive one round in order to win the game. THE CATCH, this is cooperative...if one platoon fails to conquer the bunker, ALL platoons lose. The challenges are many, with each beach section on each board being different. All sections share one common feature...its defense value, and you will lose soldiers equal to that defense value EVERY turn you are there so you will need to plan your course of action carefully. So you are probably asking yourself...where do the dice come in? The dice will be rolled up to three times each round to help you build your resources. You’ll be looking to collect tools (wrenches), soldiers straggling on the beaches (1 or 2 soldiers), courage (medals), and leadership (stars) with every roll. You can earn bonuses if you get a set of red white and blue of a single icon. Each of the nationalities has slightly different bonuses which adds to the variablity of play each game. Again...this is a coop game, so you can share these resources with other platoons in the same sector as you...this will be necessary at some point in your assault...so I would advise you to stick together. You’ll add these rolled resources to your dial board each round, and deduct them as you take losses or use them to buy upgrades for your platoon. You may be saying, ‘well review kid...this sounds easy...I’ll just sit back and build up my troops and then storm that bunker’. Not so fast my friends...you have a set number of rounds you can stay in each zone AND you can never move backwards or into the same zone twice. So you will be taking hits and moving up the beach every few turns, AND there are sectors where you can’t stall at all...you must move out after one round! This puts you under the clock and keeps you honest...afterall, there are machine guns in that bunker pouring fire at your small platoon.I have to say that after 10 playthroughs in just 2 weeks, this game is a blast! You can solo it during Covid days, or you can multiplayer it with up to 3 other players (and I believe there are expansions to increase this number). Its fast, simple to pick up, thought provoking, and just plain fun. BUT keep in mind its dice...so there is a significant amount of luck to this game though...so be prepared for some rough rounds. Even with that being said I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a light wargame with WWII theme. I’d recommend you click on that “Add To Cart” button folks...get it while you can.

Fills a niche
High quality product and a good, fast transaction. The game can be pretty brutal and its a must to preplan your route. Only played solo mode and that is pretty satisfying. There's alot to think about but its not overly taxing on your noggin!

Very fun and compelling game
D Dice somewhat recreates the tension and the choices that were taken that day. I love the coop aspect of the game, since sometimes dice don't help too much. It is a very entertainng TTG.

Yahtzee with extra steps n stuff
I'm slowly learning that "roll n wright" and "yahtzee" style games aren't really my thing. This is yahtzee with a bunch of extra stuff and a theme. If you're into that and you like the theme go nuts.
