I have been reading the reviews on and off for about 4 months before finally deciding to go ahead and buy the machine. At first the coffee tasted awful and like plastic but I did a good wash through with vinegar and water and then water twice and since then the taste has been perfect. It’s really easy to use, heats up quickly and I would say takes about 5 mins to make a coffee. In regards to stains and splatters- if it’s not twisted in tight enough the coffee splatters, but once you have made your coffee clean the machine down immediately and no staining. This is a perfect machine for if you want to start making espresso at home and see if you use your machine enough before making a proper investment! I’m so pleased I took the plunge and bought it. It also is so gorgeous aesthetically!

I've had this machine for a year now. I bought this as a temporary machine until I could figure a 'good' one to replace a high end gaggia manual espresso machine that I had for almost a decade beforeit died. For the money, it's surprisingly good, coffee tastes nice, not as a nice as the gaggia but nice enough that I decided to keep this one for as long as it works. It's a nice looking machine, fairly compact and easy to use - mostly. Little things do annoy me though, so the holder for inserting the coffee basket is poorly designed, which means fumbling to place it. My old one, stuck out a bit making it easier to place. It is a little thing and you get used to it, but makes me think with a little more effort when designing could be better. The same for the frother, its ok, but again comparing to my old one it could be better. The obvious negative owning it, is it feels cheap, light and plasticy. It is, for good reason, it's such good value, the price v performance is very good. Overall its nice looking, fairly good performing machine, great value considering the price. And the main thing after a little bit of trial and error you can make coffee's almost as good as the high end machines.

The first thing to know is that it is great value for you money. Then, it is quiet and efficient and produces the goods a that is good cup of coffee. The quality of the coffee depends on the bean and or the grinding not necessarily the machine so that down to experience. The frother does the job, just make sure it's cleaned after use as the milk will clog it up again nothing to do with the machine. So all in all it is an excellent buy for the out lay and pays back with a good cup. Down side is that this colour the off-white does seem to stain, so what I say, it adds character as long as it is clean and keeps providing me with the goods.

I've really tried to get on with this product and questioned whether I was doing something wrong as it simply seems incapable of making a decent coffee. For comparison, my previous coffee maker broke after 6 months and had to be returned but the one before that lasted 33 years before it started leaking steam. Both machines made a good cup of coffee and were easy to use. My issues with the Swan machine are as follows: 1. The temperature gauge doesn't get to the 'cup' symbol before the green light comes on and the heating stops, so the coffee is weak and quite watery. 2. The machine is bulky (yet light and plasticky,) yet only makes a double shot, so it is useless for more than 2 people or one person who needs a caffeine hit. 3. The coffee holder locks tight with the hear and is nigh on impossible to remove after use. I have to wait until the machine has cooled down, which takes about half an hour. All in all it is a white elephant which looks pretty but fails to fulfil its only purpose of making coffee. I have gone back to using my stove top coffee pot whilst I work out what to do with this piece of junk.

This coffee machine is sooo cute and makes such a great espresso.I am working in a coffee shop and I can say it make such a good espresso and for this price is bargain. Totally recomanded!!!! Also for those who said the water pump is not working I need to mention that there is a little rubber lid that needs to be taken of from the bottom of the water tang to be able to circulate the water in the machine.First I thought the same why is not wirking but look a bit ,you'll figure it out.Very simple to use 😍😍😍

Stunning machine. Makes a good coffee, It always makes lovely lattes. Easy to remove the water tank as it has handles and really easy to clean as you are going along. The milk frother works really well and makes velvety soft lattes. It is also really quick to make a latte, I usually rush for work in the morning but it doesn't take longer than 5mins to make and clean as you go along. I cannot comment on taste of espresso alone but it looks good. Additional, it does not come with the milk frother cup but they are cheap on amazon. (You don't need a thermometer, as long as the milk is swirling in the cup for around 5 seconds and is hot to touch it is usually perfect)

Very cute, I love the way it looks on my counter but this is a cheap product with very flimsy parts. It never gets up to the alleged "max" pressure shown on the dial, so steaming a single cup of milk takes about 2 full minutes (I'd also recommend ditching the cover for the steaming wand unless you exclusively want to make cappucinos- WAY too foamy). The low power of the steamer also means that being able to choose the strength of the steam is a useless feature, as you'll always want the max. It works but if you want to make more than one cup at a time, get a different espresso machine.

Great little machine, its easy to use, fits Great in my very small kitchen, coffee tastes good, will say as everyone else has it stains so if you are fussed about something like that wouldn't recommend, personally its functionality out weighs this for me but it still is a bit disappointing, weirdly most of the machine cleans easy and does not stain however the back panel does, why they didn't use the same material is beyond me, but im not a coffee machine engineer so maybe there's a reason.

My son picked this out for his birthday after recommendations from several workers at a well known coffee shop. The espresso maker arrived without any damage to the packaging from possible shipment damage; however, the unit did not work right out of the box. The water pump did not function so it was not possible to make espresso. Subsequently we attempted to ship the unit back to the manufacturer. Much to our surprise the shipping cost quoted from several different shipping agents averaged $260 which is over $100 more than the unit itself cost. This makes absolutely no sense. We are longstanding Amazon Prime members that purchase frequently. We have only sent back a handful of items in years of buying that were all damaged of non-functional items right out of the box. This is tremendously disappointing and we will be in contact with Amazon management to see if there is an alternate resolution.

A great coffee machine for the price

Elle mignonne assez facile d'utilisation il m'a fallut du temps pour le mousseur que je n'utilise plus car trop contraignant. De plus elle fait un bruit monstre . Il lui manque un broyeur cela la rendrait à mon sens plus complète vu le prix . Lidl fait exactement la même pour 70 euros !!!!

Première utilisation : l'eau ne s'écoule pas. La pompe ne semble pas fonctionner. Perte de temps.

The color was beautiful and the dimensions as advertised were correct. However it wouldn’t get hot enough or build enough pressure to steam nor would the gage work. Shipping is pricy so be carful what you order.
