Once you get this thing bent to fit your needs you will probably want to leave it that way... it's a bear to bend. You will probably need a vice buuuut, once you get it to the form you want it's not going to change shape from a rough ride. Along with a couple Ram Ball pieces it is perfect for holding my 8" Garmin or a large fish locator.

This extension came in very handy and I am able to bend it into an almost 3/4 loop. It was a great deal for my dashboard mounting. I am using it with a Bullitpoint mount and it works perfect to mount my dash cam right on my dashboard.

I like the extension and nice quality BUT the ball attachments are really slick when used with my RAM parts so it ssslllloowwwly slips down . But i should be able to scuff the ends up so they wont slide but other than that good quality for the money . One more think it is not a gooseneck type rod it is solid softer aluminum like a 5051 material so harder to bend but will hold its shape .

This flexible extension is great if you want to bent it every now and then from a very sturdy base. It doesn't work so well mounted on a motorcycle. It can't be easily moved as it takes both hands to bend it even a little bit. I like it and I'm gonna keep it but it isn't what I'm looking for.
