Great Value and Performance!
This monitor is a fantastic upgrade for work and entertainment. The 27-inch Full HD display delivers sharp, vibrant visuals, and the IPS panel provides excellent viewing angles. The Eye Care feature reduces strain during long hours, which I appreciate. Its frameless design looks sleek, and the 75Hz refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync makes it smooth for casual gaming. Setup was easy, with HDMI and D-Sub options for versatility. For the price, it’s hard to beat the quality and functionality. Highly recommend it for home or office use!

“The picture quality is very clear, which is important because I review a lot of drawings / videos.”
“This monitor is outstanding. I had it unboxed and fully set up in under 20 minutes. After using it for a week, I was impressed enough to purchase a second one for another workstation in my office. Highly recommended.”

Best first/inexpensive gaming monitor
*** UPDATE 12/23/21 *** This update is to correct the top negative review titled "It's not IPS and it's not 75hz". I don't know where this person gets their information from, but the claim that you "cannot have both 1080 lines of resolution and 75hz at the same time" is completely false and untrue. And I'm a 20+ year I.T. tech. I've just attached a picture showing this monitor running at 75Hz in Linux. I've also had it working just fine at 75Hz in Windows as well. Now while you can't visually tell much (probably none) difference between 60Hz and 75Hz like you can going from 60Hz to 120Hz, 75Hz is still better than 60Hz. And this monitor has been working fine at 75Hz since the first day I've owned it. If that reviewer's statement were true, we wouldn't be able to run monitors at 100Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, 240Hz, etc. The ONLY way this monitor would NOT run at 75Hz is if one's video card or video card drivers do not support 75Hz. Mine does and that's why I posted the picture of the monitor working at 75Hz. That reviewer's card or drivers likely did not support 75Hz, so the option wouldn't be there. It sucks that Amazon took away the ability to comment on someone's review. Otherwise this would have been corrected long ago, and probably wouldn't be the top negative review that everyone sees first. It really bugs me when someone leaves a negative review with such completely inaccurate or false information, and then it goes unchecked and others say the review is helpful. Having said that, I've had zero issues with this monitor. It's crisp, clear, colorful. And has been running flawless. Still 5/5. Definitely worth the money. Original Review: (This is for the 27" version) For the price, this is the best larger size monitor you can buy for a first monitor or if you're on a budget. The stand is just okay (you get what you pay for). It only has tilt functions. If you want more, you'll want to take advantage of the VESA mount on the back. This monitor has tons of color and temperature settings. The super-slim bezel and picture colors are just gorgeous. I'm using it as a second monitor. It looks great and the price is excellent for the picture quality and aesthetics of the monitor. If you're looking for a first gaming monitor that won't break the bank, or are on a tight budget and want a monitor that looks great or even an inexpensive second monitor, this is about the best you can get. And I've done my research. Go for it! P.S. No stuck/dead pixels on mine!

Solid, budget-friendly monitor but gamers may desire more
I really like this monitor for work, photo editing and watching videos. 27" is the ideal size for me since I like to be able to fit multiple different windows on a screen simultaneously and be able to still read everything clearly. This monitor definitely allows for that. I was reluctant to buy such a large monitor at first but I am very glad I went with this size instead of the comparable 24" I was considering. It is very well made and aesthetically pleasing in terms of design and after about two months has been working very well. The blue light filter is a nice touch and especially since Asus also offers this with my laptop, so the integration there is very pleasant. I also appreciate that there is HDMI and VGA, especially since I already have a VGA to HDMI adapter so I can essentially use two HDMI inputs and swap between them which is a nice plus. There is an available option with a DisplayPort as well if you prefer that. I do not. Only complaints I would have are the button layout on the back being a little awkward to adjust the monitor settings (but you get the hang of it after the first one or two times) and the screen's bezel is not quite as slim as you would think before turning it on (there is a black bezel that's maybe 1/4" all the way around from the edge of the display, but you hardly notice it after about 5 minutes of use). I am personally NOT a PC gamer, however I DON'T think I would recommend this monitor to someone who is a true graphics purist. 27" is a LOT of screen area and 1080p is not a very high resolution (relatively speaking). You could absolutely game on it and it has a moderate refresh rate so it won't be terrible, but I feel like someone who spends serious money on a graphics card should consider either a smaller screen (maybe 22" or 24") OR they should spend the extra money and get a 4k 27" monitor. This is more general purpose and definitely not ideal for high FPS gaming. Overall this is probably one of the better PC monitors on the market for its price point. Asus continues to impress me with the quality of their products, they really have come a long way in terms of their product design, performance, aesthetics and build quality. You will not be disappointed.

Good frameless ips monitor, great colors, mild border, but why VGA?
This is a very nice monitor, It has very vibrant colors, great viewing angels, and really nice black levels. No DisplayPort means you can't use gsync, but it will still support 75hz @ 1080p on nvidia GPUs. But why did they bother making the second input VGA? Sure, it's not a huge deal, most people only connect to one device. but VGA is pretty pointless in this day and age. A DisplayPort option for port 2 would have been much better, or at least HDMI, or even just DVI.. Anyway, this monitor may seem a little pricey for 1080p, and yes the dpi would be lower than with a 1080p 24" monitor, But if your display is more than ~14" from your face, then the difference will be less noticeable, It's also great for people with 'aging eyes' as it makes text easier to see. Overall a good monitor for the price, I've tried other cheaper brands with the same specs, but this one is noticeably better, the colors came calibrated well, and no dead pixels out of the box! The lack of gysnc support, and 75hz (max) may limit it's use for gaming, but it's great for office use/video editing.

Solid No Thrills Monitor at a great price
This is a good monitor if you can get a deal on it. We purchased a few of these for just over $100 each. These weren't used for gaming or anything fancy but for everyday use they get the job done and don't hurt your eyes. I appreciate that they included VESA mounting points at this price. Made it easy to install them onto our monitor stands.

I should’ve bought 2 of this. It’s more than what it costs
I bought a 27” KA272 bi Acer monitor a few months ago from another vendor for $200. The website said it’s the new arrival, so I thought it’s going to be updated and better. I required another monitor and the hunt for a clearer, sharper and cheaper monitor began once again. I spent complete 4 days looking for all kinds of monitors, curved, gaming, 2K, 4K etc. my usage was only for work and coding. I didn’t need a high end monitor for that. I wanted to go with a super wife 34” curved monitor to replace 2 monitors by just 1. But didn’t have money and need to get a curved monitor. I wanted a frameless 27” IPS monitor with a decent refresh rated 60Hz or higher, 1920x1080 or higher resolution with at least 2 years of warranty as cheap monitors get a lot of complaints about dead pixels. Moreover, it should be able to match the dimensions of the Acer monitor I already have so that they don’t look uneven sitting together. It bugs me if the screens are uneven. I saw this one on Amazon and found it in the range of the cheapest 27” monitors available in the market right now. I wanted something which can give me an option of display port along with an hdmi port as my dock has only 1 hdmi port and I needed to connect 2 monitors with my work laptop. I checked Asus website for this model and found there is a newer model at the same price, VZ279HE, which had the display port along with the hdmi. But it was nowhere available. It was released in April,2017 while VA27EHE launched in Dec,2019. So, was not worth buying an older version just for a port. Another competitor was ViewSonic VX2756 which had the DisplayPort and great 3 Lyra warranty, but it lost on the total height by 1”. After searching for it on all the websites, I finally bought VA27EHE. It arrived the next day, as expected. Everything was as expected, the dimensions matched with the stand. Screen was well lit with 250cd/square mm, no dead pixels, Anti-glare, nice Matt finish. What I instantly observed was that it’s bezel was slimmer than Acer, it’s thinner and the stand feels stronger. Screen is beautiful edge to edge and no dead pixels or whatsoever. The specification doesn’t mention and I cannot find anywhere, but my audio driver says that the monitor does have speakers. Don’t know where. And it does tilt! And is VESA compatible. I went back on the website where I purchased my Acer for $199 from to see if I can return that and buy one more of this. I was past the return window, so of course I couldn’t, but that was one hell of a feature in $150 in a monitor. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a 27” monitor at this price range.

Exactly as described
ASUS VA27EHE 27” Eye Care Monitor Full HD (1920 x 1080) No dislikes. You can remove harsh light with the push of a button. The picture quality is very good. This was packed extremely well and shipping was very fast. The price was excellent. Set up took maybe 5 minutes. This monitor has NO speakers or output for a headphone jack, so be aware of that. You'll have to run sound off your laptop. Please be aware that after set up, you should turn both the monitor and laptop off and restart to ensure proper working. Great monitor, an excellent purchase. I'd give this as a gift in a minute.

Best 27 inch monitor for the price
This is a great monitor for the price and quality. Only negative is the monitor does not have an adjustable height stand... but I knew this prior to purchase. I bought 3 of these monitors so far, all 3 are working as expected and no dead pixels.
