LightHeaded Beds Canterbury Twin Kids Bed with Changeable Back-Lit LED Imagery Headboard, Chestnut

Our twin bed broke right near the footboard where we lean over it to say good night to our little one. It broke a year and half after we purchased it. Nails near footboard went right through the left side bed rails and I am attempting to put in a warranty claim, dont know if we will need to pay for the replacement parts. For a childs bed I think the quality is pretty poor but the concept is genius.Update after contacting companyI sent an email to the warranty claims department and received an email back just a couple of days later stating that they would be sending me replacement rails, nails and slats! Very happy with the customer service through Lifetime! Will have no hesitation to purchase another lightheaded bed for our other daughter!

First, let me tell you how ecstatic my daughter was for her new bed. She LOVES that it has a nightlight on it. The bed arrived before we expected it to which was great! It was well packaged and all the pieces were easy to tell apart. The only struggle we had is the holes pre-drilled on the support slats seemed to be on the wrong side. Or the ones for the middle support beam. After messing with it for about half an hour, we decided good was good enough. Feels sturdy and my daughter's face lit up when she saw it. The bed looks sleek and classy. Holds quite a bit of weight so no worries there!

We purchased the white version. Solid wood construction was a welcome sight. I'm so used to pressboard products that I just don't expect to see real wood anymore. Assembly was wonderfully easy. Allen screws attach headboard, footboard & siderails. Only effort was putting in the wood screws to hold the support slats down. But even that was a breeze because the slats came pre-spaced with a strips of fabric holding them together accordion-like. Use an electric screwdriver for the slats and the bed is put together in less than 30 minutes.Remote works perfectly and light up screen is beautiful. There are several degrees of brightness, a timer, and a fade-out setting. The bed I received came with an additional on/off switch in the headboard that was not depicted in the instructions. I mounted it on top of the headrail, because if you attach it to the wall you will not be able to move the bed.The free picture we received was of dolphins, not elephants.** The only negative comment I have is that the free picture included has advertising on it to purchase a new screen. Very annoying. My 6 yr old doesn't even notice, but I feel this is not a very customer-friendly thing to do. You do get a $20 coupon to order another screen which is nice, and there are a lot of choices, the vast majority of which are $20 or less. There are some licensed images that are $30, so if you want a Disney picture you will have to pay extra. You can also create your own picture, but we did not pursue that. My son picked some race cars and is very happy. **That one negative aside, I am so impressed with the bed that I still give it 5 stars. It's unique, beautiful, solidly constructed and my son loves it. 5 stars from me.

The bed itself is wonderful. More than enough space to accommodate the trundle bed we already had. More images for the LightHead are coming all the time. My daughter wanted a Doc McStuffins image and they did not have one when I ordered the bed, but they just introduced 2 of them, so everyone is happy now. Assembly was not difficult, however you do need 2 people for a few of the steps. The only thing to note is that the style of the footboard means that you have to tuck in the bedspread to comforter - which is very apparent from the pictures of the bed.

The item is damaged on the back - Its scratched.After all the hard work taking it to the second floor and having someone to assemble it I need to deal with the return process.

We have the Lightheaded Canterbury Twin Bed for our 11 year old daughter and it's awesome! As soon as I felt the weight of the box, I knew it was a good quality bed. Installation was really easy and went quick. The extra detailing on the footboard really makes the bed gorgeous while the uniqueness of the headboard packs a big punch of flair. We changed out the included dolphin graphic for a scenic landscape with a rainbow. This new graphic is absolutely stunning when lit. With the built-in graphic storage, we plan to get a few more graphics so she can continually change out as she likes. Our daughter loves using the headboard to read at night and the timer allows it to dim and go out after she falls asleep. This bed is really great and I love that it appeals to kids from the time they leave the crib till the time they get married. *I received product in exchange for an honest blog review.

my son (5yrs loves Spiderman and dolphins) was happy he got his own bed but once he saw it light up he was ecstatic! every time his cousins come over he has to show them his night light and with it being interchangeable makes me happy because I save money on just buying a film instead of a whole other bed. assembly was easy just make sure you attach the legs to the headboard right or support boards will not fit towards the headboard trust me just switch the legs if you have fitment problems good instructions just didn't have labels on the pieces. Also the $20 coupon was a bonus no brainer.

The lighted picture is pretty cool but the bed itself is cheap particleboard junk that fell apart quickly.
