bike saddle
switched to the ISM PR Series saddle because I was tired of discomfort and numbness on long rides. Here’s how it worked for me: No nose design: The seat has no front point, so it doesn't press on sensitive areas. This helped me avoid numbness and pain. Comfortable padding: The foam and gel padding is soft yet supportive, making long rides more comfortable. Wide rear section: The wider back of the seat provides better support, especially for upright riding positions. Versatile use: It's suitable for hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, and even triathlon setups. ✅ Pros: Reduces pressure on sensitive areas Comfortable for long rides Suitable for various bike types Helps prevent numbness and discomfort ⚠️ Cons: May take time to get used to the unique design Might not be suitable for aggressive riding positions 🏁 Final Thoughts If you're experiencing discomfort or numbness with traditional bike seats, the ISM PR Series noseless saddle could be a great solution. It offers comfort and support, especially for upright riding positions. Just be prepared for a short adjustment period to get used to its unique design.

Comfortable and Ergonomic option to make training days less awful.
I recently bought a new Scott bike to train for Triathlons and my least favorite part of the bike and training was how uncomfortable the factory seat was. Sitting on an uncomfortable saddle is probably one of the circles of hell. After researching , and testing multiple options I can say this is THE BEST seat in the market for this price point. It is easy to install and fits all standard size bikes, the shape and padding mare a huge difference on my bike rides and went from hating the bike training days to enjoying my time on the bike as well as the hours and days after the bike ride. I was deterred at first based on the higher price , but it is worth every penny. I cannot recommend it enough.

No more Numbness!
I am so impressed with this saddle. I just got it the other day and took it on a 30 mile ride yesterday. For the first time in years my junk did not go numb! I have tried many different saddles which have helped to a degree with general soreness but none of them stopped my umm, equipment from going numb. This is the first saddle that gave me said relief. If the saddle was a bit wider in the rear portion of the saddle this would have gotten 5 stars. But overall I am extremely happy with this saddle. With all the different ones I tried I would have to stop every few miles to readjust my junk to try to relive the numbness. Not with this saddle! $160 was a lot more than I wanted to spend on a saddle but after taking it on a 30 mile ride I have found that it is worth every penny!

Comfortable and Game-Changing for Long Rides!
The ISM PR Series Noseless Bicycle Seat is a total game-changer! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I’m so impressed by the comfort it provides, especially during long rides. The noseless design takes the pressure off sensitive areas, which has made a huge difference in preventing discomfort and numbness I used to experience with traditional seats. The seat itself is well-made, lightweight, and offers plenty of support. It’s easy to adjust to the perfect position, and I love how it allows for better airflow, keeping things cool during hot rides. If you’re someone who does a lot of long-distance cycling or suffers from saddle discomfort, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their cycling experience!

Best seat, to date.
One of the best seats I've ever tried. I have to admit I was afraid it was going to be too hard when I first tried it. I chose this model because it's foam and gel, and I thought it would be softer than the just foam version, the Typhoon. But after a couple of rides and adjustments (review the ISM installation videos when first installing), it has become one of the most comfortable seat's I've tried. I have aero bars on my bike, and my conventional seat just caused too much pain in the groin area and I was numb after a ride (I am female) when I spent too much time riding aero. I put it on my bike while it was on a trainer and did some 30 mile rides with this seat, no numbness and I didn't notice the seat "hardness" after a couple of rides. I took it outside (finally!) for a 30 miler and was totally comfortable. I did have a couple of hot spots toward the end of the ride, but might just have been friction from the chamois. I highly recommend this seat. I did more of my ride on the aero bars with this seat than I have been able to do using any other seat, but riding more upright was fine too. No numbness when I got off the bike. One of my workout days I do a brick workout: I do a 30 minute ride then 30 minute run, and I do this ride in my running shorts with no chamois at all, and I am fine. In fact, I think that a less bulky chamois would help with the hot spots I referenced earlier. I previously used a Terry saddle, a Selle SMP and a Bontrager. This is by far the most comfortable seat of all. The Terry was ok, but not so great for riding in the aero position. I don't think everyone will love this seat, but I do.

Like the title says, the first few *weeks adjusting to this seat was uncomfortable. I had to play around with the height, angle, and fore/aft probably over 100 times before I was satisfied. Even then, I always shifted around trying to find a better position to sit on it. Then, it was gone. Suddenly. Magically. I stopped thinking about it, stopped feeling pain in my under regions and kept on biking. I do still move around occasionally but more because I need more power rather than being uncomfortable. Right now, I just hop on my bike and ride, waiting for my body to naturally go into position and get comfortable. Then my butt forgets about the seat and I can focus on actually riding longer and enjoying the world. Its like having to stand for long periods of time. It hurts for the first few times then you just forget about standing even if you needed to stand for hours on end. Its not like it was absolutely hell during those first weeks. This seat is... okay for comfort, as with any other bike seat. I could still ride long distances (20km+) without having to hop off my bike due to pain, but it wasn't exactly like a soft cushion either. And honestly, even now, its still isn't really comfortable. But it works for what it says it does: removing pain from the groin. The feeling of the seat being there just disappears when you finally get it to where you need it and stays like that until you get off the bike. Even if you tour for hours, this seat would probably save you from a lot of pain. And I think that's worth more than having a comfortable bike seat. * I didn't actually count how many weeks it took to get adjusted. My body just learned how to sit on it and all the pain disappeared. Might be longer or shorter for you. But don't give up. I was thinking of shipping it back but figured that I should trust the process. I don't regret that decision.

I must have spent many hundreds of pounds on saddles over the years but have never found one that I was comfortable with, until now. I have a road bike which I use just with the Turbo Trainer and as I spend an hour on it whenever it is raining too hard to go out cycling, I need a comfortable saddle. I have to say that the ISM PR1 is the most comfortable saddle I have ever used. No more pain in the bum, no more agony in the nether region when I stand up or get off the bike, no more walking funny because of the pain, no more back ache. I'm so impressed that I have bought another two for my other bikes. They are expensive but worth the price in every way. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Buy one, you won't regret it I promise. Warning: I bought another of these in Octorber when there was a discount but didn't come to fit it until February. Unfortunately it looks like someone has zip tied the front two prongs together for some reason and when it didn't suit, had just sent it back. Amazon must have put it back into stock and subsequently sent it out to me when I ordered one. I am now left with a defective saddle and it is too late to send it back, meaning that I have wasted my money. If you buy one, make sure you check it when it arrives.
