Boss Office Products (BOSXK) Contract Task Chair with Synchro-Tilt Mechanism, Black

I’ve waited a year to write this so I could provide a review based on extensive use. Between working from home and gaming, I will spend 6-10 hours in this chair a day. The seat cushion has held up with no noticeable loss of fill. After one year, I flipped the arm rest pads as I had flattened them in the back.The chair was fairly easy to assemble and can be done with a Phillips screwdriver. The back did come loose gradually, with those screws needing retightened every other month. Otherwise, a solid chair and quality purchase.

The chair is very comfortable, but there are a few long term issues I have noticed. My chair gets anywhere from 6-7 hours a day on most days, and about 10-12 hours a day on my days off.I have had the chair for a few months and the plastic armrests are already separating from the arm itself, and the leaning lock seems to come out of position on its own.

I have only used it for like one hour so can’t give to much details but my back and butt thank the manufacturer of this chair. It’s a less expensive version of my actually office chair. I wish I had invested 2 months ago when the work from home started. It’s comfortable, my back is not hurting anymore. It’s a great deal if you need a reasonable office chair.

You get what you pay for. This was a really nice chair for the first month of use. But it didn't take long for things to fall apart. One major issue is that the back resistance support (you tighten or loosen from knob below to control sitback resistance) worked only for a short while but now lasts only a minute before going all loose again. In other words, I like a stiff supporting back. Tighten the knob underneath and it tightens the resistance of the back of chair. But after a minute, it goes slack again and I'm leaning way back again! Junk! The arm rests are not that strong either. Don't put any weight on them like pushing off to get out of the chair.What is a comfortable chair is simply not a strong or durable chair. Pay more and get better.

This chair did not live up to expectations. I used it pretty regularly for a month, and not much since then, since I went back to work. It was great for a few days. Within about 10 days, I started to have problems. The back support is almost worthless. It leans way back really easily, even when you try to tighten the knob. I've got it as tight as I can get it, and it's effortless to lean back. Each time I tightened it, it helped for like 2 days, and then went back to how it was before. Also, the lever to move one of the armrests up and down broke off from me sitting down. My pocket got caught on it and busted it right off. But the part you actually sit on is comfortable and it rolls well, so it gets two stars instead of 1.

Working from home and my back was not liking my old chair. Found this great chair on Amazon for a great price that was similar to chair I had from work. Was just what I needed to feel great working from home. This is a great chair. Not a huge chair with high back. Was perfect size and comfortable for the back. Also can adjust height of arms. Next project is better desk.

Love this chair! It was easy to assemble. I bought an expensive leather Serta chair that was so uncomfortable. This one was a much better deal and has more support for my lower back. I have degenerative disc disease and this is one of the most comfortable office chairs for my back. I stuck a decorative lumbar pillow in it and it’s perfect.

This chair is really comfortable but there is a very strong chemical smell when you take it out of the box. I would recommend airing it out for a couple days.
