Four star worthy, but definitely an economy model.
Some years ago, I had a combination microwave/convection/rotisserie oven that could cook anything. Meats, veggies, even biscuits.Sadly, that particular oven is no longer in production, and the closest similar microwave is, well...way beyond my budget. So I decided to split the replacement of my current microwave and bought this as the convection half. I am very glad I did.I'm sure it won't last as long as other brands, but it seemed to have the best features/price balance. So far, I've done vegetables, frozen pizza and various meats (from chicken fingers to battered fish fillets to a 3-pound chuck roast) and have not been disappointed.THE GOOD: Everything cooks quickly and evenly, regardless of the type of cooking. The oven has time and temperature settings for grilling and air frying, in addition to more traditional baking and roasting. The bowl and racks are very easy to clean, either by hand or in a dishwasher.THE BAD: The lid, on the other hand, can only be hand washed, and it cannot be immersed. Thus, a swipe with a wet sponge followed by a swipe with a paper towel is the best method.THE UGLY: While more or a nitpick than actual drawback, the lack of an included pan makes air fying and baking somewhat less than easy. That said, aluminum foil does make a passable substitute. If you're looking for an economical convection oven, this is the one to go for, but if you have a few dollars more, use them on a better model. That said, I still rate this four stars for its versatility.

works great, but it can't last forever
I used this product and several Infra-Chefs before it. I looked at those air fryers that are so popular, man, what a rip off and waste of space those tings are. What a joke, I'll stick to the infra chef style ovens. I replaced the infra-red heating elements in several' I think I've had at least 3, maybe 4. This one was nice as it was an upgrade, with digital controls.I was recommended to me because you can brown veggies in no time and make delicious and nutritious meals very easily, in half the time you would in an regular oven. This one, the temp circuit doesn't work properly, it never shuts off and burns your food if you don't watch out. I cannot fix it and even though my receipt says warranty was goo until 4/2005, it doesn't appear I have an option to use it. So , I'll just get a new one.. What the heck, we got our money's worth out of it..

very happy with it, trouble 2years later
The media could not be loaded. very happy with it. I used to have one before that would open with an attached arm. I like this one better. the click mechanism to turn on and off seems fragile and it could break easily but it only takes to notice it and do it right to avoid breaking.Update: after 26 months the heating element stopped working so I bought the same model again. I really loved that they improved the accessories but the one I received seems to have been defective because it was extremely noisy. I am not sure if it is a change or that the one I received was faulty. Anyway you can see In the video that this unit should not be very noisy. It does have a fan and that’s about all the noise it creates but is not annoying or bothersome. I decided to return my second one and try another brand because I didn’t want to risk receivi in the video that this unit should not be very noisy. Revisit my purchase of Rosewill turbo cooker.
Bought this product/model in June of 2021. It lasted through March of 2023, after which fan stopped working. For this type of product, it lasted quite that long. My family used it heavily, I mean, about every other day or so for an average of 30 to 45 minutes. I'm surprised the fan went out first before the infrared element. I would still recommend this brand as an excellent choice. I really have no expectation this this type of product, if heavily used, would last past two years.

Disappointed
We had been using the Oyama cooker that looks like this but uses an element instead of infrared heat for a few years. That version would last us about a year before it would die and I'd have to replace it (we went through two of them). Because we used it daily and it wasn't cost effective to keep replacing them and the Oyama disappeared from the products for sale, we went with this one this time. It cooks well, made decent food, cooked in a reasonable amount of time and overall we were happy with it while it was working. I've had it for seven months and it worked fine until it didn't. My husband cooked food in it in the morning and it was fine. Then at lunch I went to cook a couple of burgers in it and it smelled strongly of burning plastic! After checking it over my husband deemed it not safe for further use after less than a year of owning it.
