Affordable Air Fryer
This Rosewill convection oven is a very versatile and affordable cooking unit. The digital control buttons help to enter cooking times and temperatures more precisely. Besides that, the preset buttons for frequent cooking programs are also provided. As far as I remember, this type of forced-air oven has been around for more than twenty years—started out with analog rotary control knobs. We used this oven almost every week to grill chicken, pork chops, ribs, and to fry egg rolls. It’s large enough to roast a whole chicken and is very easy to clean. The glass bowl and lid allow me to observe the cooking process from any angle and at any time without having to open it. It’s convenient, reliable, and truly is an air fryer.

Love this appliance but lid it difficult to clean.
I've been using this fryer for a quite a while. It's VERY convenient for cooking small dishes. The ONLY thing I dislike is the fact you can't remove the heating element from the lid. It seems it would be a VERY easy thing to design the lid with a clamping system to remove the electronics from it and stick just the glass lid into the dishwasher. I mean, it's just a glass lid with a hole in it. It's not rocket science. Other than that, the oven has worked flawlessly and probably paid for itself in savings from not using the full size oven when I don't need to.

works great, but it can't last forever
I used this product and several Infra-Chefs before it. I looked at those air fryers that are so popular, man, what a rip off and waste of space those tings are. What a joke, I'll stick to the infra chef style ovens. I replaced the infra-red heating elements in several' I think I've had at least 3, maybe 4. This one was nice as it was an upgrade, with digital controls. I was recommended to me because you can brown veggies in no time and make delicious and nutritious meals very easily, in half the time you would in an regular oven. This one, the temp circuit doesn't work properly, it never shuts off and burns your food if you don't watch out. I cannot fix it and even though my receipt says warranty was goo until 4/2005, it doesn't appear I have an option to use it. So , I'll just get a new one.. What the heck, we got our money's worth out of it..

Great healthy halogen cooker!
This halogen infrared cooker is just great. I put a little oil around the inside of the glass bowl, and it makes it easier to clean when I cook. I usually cook chicken in it, and I take all the skin and fat off. I sprinkle some spices on top of the chicken, set the timer for 45min. and it cooks it nice and crispy like the skin is still on it, but much healthier. I now cook the chicken for only 25 minutes because @ 45 minutes it's too dry. It came with 2 racks for the inside, one shorter, one higher for layered cooking, a manual, and a lid holder which makes it easier to put the lid on it rather than lay it flat. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat healthier.

very happy with it, trouble 2years later
very happy with it. I used to have one before that would open with an attached arm. I like this one better. the click mechanism to turn on and off seems fragile and it could break easily but it only takes to notice it and do it right to avoid breaking. Update: after 26 months the heating element stopped working so I bought the same model again. I really loved that they improved the accessories but the one I received seems to have been defective because it was extremely noisy. I am not sure if it is a change or that the one I received was faulty. Anyway you can see In the video that this unit should not be very noisy. It does have a fan and that’s about all the noise it creates but is not annoying or bothersome. I decided to return my second one and try another brand because I didn’t want to risk receivi in the video that this unit should not be very noisy. Disappointed
We had been using the Oyama cooker that looks like this but uses an element instead of infrared heat for a few years. That version would last us about a year before it would die and I'd have to replace it (we went through two of them). Because we used it daily and it wasn't cost effective to keep replacing them and the Oyama disappeared from the products for sale, we went with this one this time. It cooks well, made decent food, cooked in a reasonable amount of time and overall we were happy with it while it was working. I've had it for seven months and it worked fine until it didn't. My husband cooked food in it in the morning and it was fine. Then at lunch I went to cook a couple of burgers in it and it smelled strongly of burning plastic! After checking it over my husband deemed it not safe for further use after less than a year of owning it.

Been using a lamp air fryers for a decade now. Got it before Amazon even existed for a lot more to $$$ than this from the good old The Shopping Channel. If you make chicken legs like a roast / BBQ this does both ish in a mix .. you get slight burn grill like BBQ and still juicy inside like a roast. But... BUT.. because this is on a grill like the BBQ all the fat drops to the bottom(minus a flame show) its that much more healthier than roast or fried or pan fried. Made many things as try and error but eventually you figure out how to do it. I bet someone is making rice in it somewhere on the planet this thing is that awesome. << FRIED CHICKEN >> yes you can make fried chicken in this but don't think you will get same result with 0 oil. This isn't black magic it's an air fryer. You can spray oil get a light coat and then put it in this. It's still a world better than deep fried chicken with 80% of the results. Obviously it isn't like fried chicken but it's good enough to have as an alternative. Don't expect Popeyes or KFC crunch with 0 oil and air fried. Wedges veggies chicken beef patties pizza pockets French fries and many other experiments were done. I really think it should be a daily cooker or a weekend healthy meal prepper. I've gifted this as a house warming gift to more than 10 people and no one has NOT over used this.. everyone tires to do everything in this to get a healthier meat cooking alternative.

This is my third one of these devices, mostly because I use it daily. The previous two have had the exact same item fail each time (the halogen bulb essentially blows out as lights do) Hence the suggestion to get the extended warranty. Each of my previous two units lasted well over 2 years, and even with them breaking as they did, i would still suggest this unit anytime of any day. Roast? no problem. Pizza? sure. French Fries from cut uncooked potatoes? easy. Crispy wings? go for it. There are only two of us and this unit continues to be the one kitchen device i actually leave on the counter as its used daily.

Good product in term of cost and value but you need to find a good place to place the glass lid when you open it during use. It is too hot for most table surface.
