does what it says it will
My handsome boy didn’t exactly enjoy eating this but I know it extended the last few years he had with us. We supplemented it with some bacon bits which activated his nose and taste buds.

Really seems to work!
Old dog returned to our rescue, probably 12-23, Aussie about 50 pounds, and was just super disoriented and scared and not seeing or hearing well at all for the first month or so and I was going to try Bright Mind which is for dogs like this, but my vet suggested Neurocare and I think it made a dramatic difference. It took about 2 weeks and I know it can't fix old eyes and ears, I think it has lit up the part of the brain that interprets the input so the next effect is he is functioning so much better and no longer seems so confused and scared.

My Dog Loves This
My dog is a picky poodle, and she loves this stuff. I was a little surprised, since she usually gobbles up fish flavored food this quickly. Aside from taste, she does seem happier, more energetic, and more affectionate now. (We switched from Jinx.) I'm still not sure how much this helps with her dementia after two months of this food -- she still constantly wanders, including at night, and she also pees and poops everywhere -- but since she's happier now, I'm going to keep buying it.

Overall ok - issue with best by date
Can’t say for sure that it’s helping our epileptic dog as we’ve also adjusted medications since starting this food. Overall, he enjoys it. Only real complaint is the last 3 orders we’ve received best by dates are the same months we received our order. For example, this recent order was received today 07/16/2026 with a best by date listed of 07/2026. It normally takes us 6-8 weeks to complete a bag so our last bag that we’re finishing off is technically “expired” as it list 06/2026 best by date.
