A No-Brainer: Good Airflow, Far Easier Clean-up
Air Fryers are great for crisping / browning / frying many foods, and although a very light coating of oil may be needed for desired effect on certain foods (for example, vegetables such as zucchini and green beans), they still achieve a much healthier simulacrum of deep frying. However, between the inherent presence of fats and oils in many foods and a brushed-on light coating of oil, cleaning air fryers can still be a pain in the neck. The many air circulation holes in the bottom and sides of most air fryer baskets often result in a coating of oil throughout the entire insides of the air fryer that then needs to be awkwardly cleaned in addition to the removable basket. Enter the silicon air fryer basket! While I was initially a bit concerned that the solid wall and bottom of this basket might impair effective airflow around the food inside it and consequently limit its crisping / browning / frying capabilities, I have not found that to be the case. The nice sized ridges on the bottom permit good airflow underneath the food and the side wall is low enough to permit good general airflow around it. Worst case (and not a big deal), depending on the food you are cooking you may want to turn and flip the food upside down halfway through the cooking cycle to promote more even crisping / browning / frying. Regardless, virtually any oil that escapes from the food remains in the basket, which is then easily removed for cleaning in hot soapy water. Although in general it can be a bit challenging to remove food discoloration from silicon cookware, I've found that using a good grease-cutting dish detergent does the job with little extra effort, especially when you immerse the basket in VERY HOT soapy water IMMEDIATELY after removing it from the fryer while the basket itself is still quite hot. Additionally, it helps to use a soft-bristled brush to remove food bits etc. from the crevices between the ridges on the bottom. All in all, this product has been quite the find and has made life much easier for me when using my air fryer. As a result, I use it much more often than previously, when I often found myself weighing the desirability of air frying against the hassle of cleaning the air fryer. Pros: - Good airflow crisps / browns / fries foods effectively - Nice tabs on the basket wall make it easy to remove the still hot silicon basket from the air fryer basket - Easy to soak the basket for thorough cleaning - Inside of the air fryer itself remains quite clean and largely free from any oily build-up Cons (Very Slight) - Depending on the food you are cooking, you may need to turn and flip the food upside down halfway through the cooking cycle for more even crisping / browning / frying - Like all silicon cookware, requires a bit more care to clean compared to nonstick or ceramic kitchenware, but overall still much easier than needing to clean the air fryer internals after using the basket that comes with the air fryer - Although available in multiple sizes, may slightly decrease available room for foods in your air fryer depending upon its shape and dimensions

A must-have for air fryer fans
Short answer: A couple days after buying one, I ordered a second. Yeah, itโs that good. I have the 5.8 quart Cosori air fryer (also highly recommended) and use it a lot, sometimes twice a day. This means a lot of cleaning for both the wire basket and the basket base. Theyโre huge. Itโs a pain to hand wash them so often and using the dishwasher means risking the non-stick surfaces. Now, I just drop in this silicone insert and wash it instead. It turns inside out for easier hand washing, but I bought two so I could just toss the used one into the dishwasher. The insert gets really hot inside the air fryer so donโt be like my husband and grab the handles barehanded! Itโs not burning hot but yes, protect your hands with oven mitts or a towel. Also, if you cook something that benefits from air circulation or contact with metal underneath, remember to flip or shake for best results. For example, youโll need to flip grilled cheese sandwiches halfway through cooking. The XL fits perfectly in the 5.8 quart Cosori.

Works Great, Relatively easy to clean.
It saves me from cleaning the air fryer's basket. I use this silicon basket for Gourmia 6 Quart Air Fryer MODEL: GAF686. It does take a little longer to cook certain foods like chicken but it is just as quick with other foods like fish and fries. Fries are hard to turn over or shuffle around for even cooking due to the deep ridges. I keep the air fryer's bottom vent in the basket then add the silicon basket. Depending on what I'm cooking I may leave it out while the air fryer heats up. Sometimes if I need to get the silicon basket out of the air fryer's basket it can be a little difficult remove while it is hot but you can use utensils on it's handles to take it out. Overall, I am please with this item and depending on the food cooked in the basket can be clean easily by placing in the dishwasher, but for juicier items you may need to hand wash due to deep browning or burning of the juices on the basket but it's much easier to clean than the air fryer's metal basket.

YAY! I can air fry again!!
Our family has an air fryer that has a pretty non-functional 'non-stick' coating - as in, everything sticks to it. The food tray insert is even worse. The whole thing is such a chore to clean that I stopped using it altogether. While buying other kitchen items here on Amazon, this silicone basket came up as a suggestion. I checked it out, read the reviews, and decided to try one. Happy to report that all of those positive reviews are absolutely true - this basket saved air frying for me. I made some chicken wings, and I don't think they could've turned out better - perfectly crispy and golden brown (I wish I'd thought to take a picture for this review!). And the only cleanup involved was this insert, which could not have been easier. I would recommend this insert to anyone who owns an air fryer, especially those who had given up on it like I had with mine. Buy this, and you'll be glad you did. :-)

A must-have for the air fryer
I just purchased a Chefman 8 qt. air fryer and discovered this silicone pot online. I purchased the XL and you can see how it fits. The basket is big enough to fit one chicken breast cut into pieces to make chicken tenders. If you need to fit more, you might want to remove the silicone pot. I've used the pot a few times and it is easy to clean by hand washing. When you open the air fryer it is hot so you need a pot holder. It seems to retain heat for awhile, which keeps the food warm. I reheated fried fish and the grease nicely fell into the grooves. I'm totally happy with this silicone pot! It seems thick & sturdy. It means less cleaning and wear & tear on the Teflon-coated air fryer basket.

Easily Stains
Purchased this last year 4/26/2021 and while it does work quite well, unfortunately, even with cleaning it every time it was used, it has become unsightly stained, to the point that I am going to toss it. I have tried soaking over night in Dawn liquid detergent and have tried baking soda with vinegar, it did not work. Personally I don't think I will buy another one or even another brand. It may be safe, I don't know, I just can't get rid of the stains. Other than this problem the pot works very well for keeping the air fryer cleaner.

Love it.
It is well made. After using it for potatoes, fish, chicken, pork still looking like new, very easy to clean and the handles are great not hot. With the price, no smell at all while cooking on it.

Love this silicone basket!
I received this silicone basket earlier this week, and I've used it in my air fryer almost everyday. I got the XL size which fits great into my 5.8QT Cosori Air Fryer. My air fryer basket is 9" square and this Simple Lyfe basket is 8.66" diameter. There's just enough room around the edges for air flow but still gives me enough basket space. Love that all the oil/grease pools at the bottom of the basket and around the edges and not on the food. Clean up is so easy. Soak in soapy hot water and everything washes off. I love that you can flip the basket inside out so that you can get in between the grooves easily. Definitely would recommend!

A great quality product. Delivery was delayed by about a a week. I received an unexpected credit to recompense the delay. Excellent customer service by Amazon. The Premium Air Fryer Pot is everything it was advertised to be. We use it constantly in our air fryer and it is easy to clean, including in the dishwasher. Definitely recommended.
