Automotive Authority Black Chrome Side Body Trim Molding for 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado - 3-7/8" Wide (Full Roll - 20 ft)

This stuff was fantastic. It appeared Factory or possibly better than factory. Figuring out how to cut it was kind of difficult. Razor blades definitely did not work. I ended up using a small air powered saw and cleaning the edges up on my bench grinder. This left a very clean edge. Using the bench grinder I could also angle the material slightly to match the edges of the truck it was installed on. I did apply windshield urethane on the far outside edge of all the corners. It adhered fine without it, but long-term reliability I figured this would be a good idea.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second vehicle installing the moldings on.The first one I did was 4 years ago and it is still looking great so I decided to do my Chevrolet Avalanche.The molding adheres very well and it is very good quality and a great value.Installation is a breeze.A couple of hits I would suggest is that when you measure and cut your pieces late amount of the Sun so they will go flat and be easy to install also it a must that you prepare the surface by decreasing and removing any debris.As I've stated I have previous install this molding on another vehicle 4 years ago and it is performing terrifically with no peeling.

Cheaply made and cause its in a roll and it has wrinkles in it

Husband just had his truck restored and ordered this trim for the side from Amazon was easy to put on and looks fantastic

Sure I may have it 1/16" off of perfectly straight, but it looks great, and protects the new paint.

It's what I wanted but not scuffed up and scratched up, you pay that much it should be handled with a little care, I know things happen but just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.
