ACTIIV Recover Thickening Shampoo Treatment For Men | For Fuller Hair

I’ve been using ACTIIV for about a year or so and it seems to help with thinning hair. I use it about 3 x per week and follow the instructions on the label. The large quantity is nice also to help minimize the steeper cost.

There's no doubt about it--this product is expensive. Almost $100 for both the cleanser and the conditioner. It took about a month for my hairdresser to notice anything--because I'm thinning in the back and can't see it too well myself--but she reported she could see little hairs beginning to grow. I've been using it for about six months now, and hair continues to grow. I'm not noticing a much fuller head of hair because the hair growth is just pacing the rate of hair loss. But, I'm happy because it's stopped the net hair loss.Just make sure to follow their instructions--leave the cleanser in for five minutes, rinse, then apply the conditioner, and then rinse--and it really does work. I had been using Nioxin for years, but it hadn't been working to stop the thinning. But, Actiiv has kept my hair at status quo. And, that's good enough for me.

I've used this for one full year, so I have to say this is a fair evaluation of the product. It did not promote growth of new hair, however, it did seem to make my hair grow a little faster. Sure, it smelled nice and made my hair look good, but my normal shampoo did the same thing. I have also noticed lately that my hair is getting thinner on top of my scalp, so I don't believe this promotes hair retention either, at least for me.

I love this shampoo! I have a normal man’s haircut and it only takes about a quarter of a teaspoon of shampoo to do my hair. It is definitely helped my hair grow back. Awesome!

Secret weapon for thinning hair. If you are 50+ and still have your hair but it's getting thinner and lacking in body, you can go back 30 years with this stuff. It's expensive but a tiny bit is all you need...

This product arrived as the picture shows: no box, it wasn't screwed into the base of the lid, and no protection or bag - just this in a box. The shampoo itself is an opaque creamy smooth consistency, but the problem is that it carries no significant odor except that of moisturizing bar soap. I've used tea tree products all my life as well as exposure to lavender regularly. This smells like neither. Did someone at Amazon replace the real thing with a equal volume of dove soap priced at 5-10 dollars? That's what I want to know.It's only day 1 for me so too early to tell if it works but I can update this review over time.Update 1: (2 weeks)- ordered one more from Amazon and it appears to be the same so I presume it's the right product. Have been using it as instructed. So far no significant changes I can see but its early. Willing to try this as long as a couple months and we will see where we get.
